Completely disagree, for someone like Ibaka on a franchise that knows it has the pull and is successful (like Boston) we have leverage to send his bird rights over and get something back..
Yes, SOMETHING. The BKN pick? HELL NO. Not in a million years. It takes some serious delusion to think that's possible.
I went to their forum and asked them about it and they laughed at the idea

Ibaka is a really good role player. It would extremely difficult for the Magic to get somebody to give up a top 5 pick for a roleplayer on an expiring contract. If you guys can get that, take it and run.....I just dont think its possible.
That said, teams like Boston and Toronto do have a nice collection of young assets. They'll both make reasonable offers for Ibaka if the Magic do look to move him this year.
From a Raptors perspective.....they may offer some combination of the following:
Jakob Poeltl - C - 9th pick in last years draft. He has good hands, high ball IQ and has good mobility. Once he gains more strength and experience, he's pretty much a lock in my books to be a solid role player (no all-star upside but will be good).
Delon Wright - PG - I personally think this guy has more upside than any Guard currently on the Magic roster. Unfortunately for him, he plays behind an all-star in Lowry and a hometown guy with championship Spurs experience in Joseph so the minutes just aren't going to be there for this kid to develop. When he did get burn last year, he looked good.
Norman Powell - SG - Like Wright, Powell is ready to breakout but playing behind Derozan/Ross, the minutes arent there for him. He can shoot, defend and get to the rim, Kind of like Tony Allen with a 3pt shot.
With so many crazy contracts being handed out these days, young, talented guys like the above on cheap rookie deals are worth gold. That said, different teams have different needs. Raps dont have the minutes to give to these guys and the Magic need a change of direction......they are good tradng partners imo.
