I would do this, though i'm afraid of Exum's long term fit. That said he'd give us the defense at the point to help make up for missing it at other positions.
Maybe if this was a bigger deal that Uta moved Favors for some value too.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
I'm wondering if Exum is in the doghouse or what at Utah - as he has not been getting many minute's since Hill is back , and the Jazz may need to let Favors go - so Okafor may be appealing.
Exum would certainly help the 6ers perimeter defence , n has a good relationship with Simmons.

I'd do that deal in a heartbeat, but why would Utah? They already have Gobert and Favors (who can play Center) making the Max. They just got rid of Kanter, because he didn't fit, and Okafor is basically Kanter without the rebounds.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Exum isn't getting any minutes since Quin Snyder seems to prefer Shelvin Mack as the back up point guard. Favors, Hayward and Hood are getting paid next summer or the following one, so Utah Jazz have to make some difficult choices. Perhaps Rastas thinks that Okafor is a nice alternative for Favors, especially since they're trading a player who barely gets minutes.
Pssst, don't tell him Okafor is a bad alternative.

I'd do that. I wouldn't have done it on the day that Okafor was drafted, but I'd do it today.
I still really like Exum.

Why not? I'd just assume if you went after lowry, due to his age, you my as well go all in to win now while holding on to your two main prospects(Embiid and Simmons) I guess you could just address your wing issues in a trade with someone else.
You'd still have to give up Noel and the Lakers 1st. If we gave up Lowry, we'd need a high Draft pick next draft to fill his spot in a deep PG draft class.
But if I was running your organization I'd probably just "trust the process" one more year. As a Toronto Raptors fan, the thought of any of Fultz, Fox or Dennis Smith Jr on the Sixers scares the heck outta me down the road. All three of those guys are exactly what you need! Fultz especially, he would make you guys scary af. Ball doesn't really fit with Simmions imo but you guys can get your future PG next draft no problem.
If things go on pace you guys should be picking Top 5(your pick) 7-14(Lakers pick)
If you could get one of (Fultz, Smith, Fox, Ball, Ntilikina) with one of those picks
And one of (Jackson, Tatum, issac, Monk) with the other pick, look out.
After that, you can address the other wing with your non core prospects and the future Kings 2019(which is Gold)

I don't mind moving Okafor at this point if we can still get good value for him but my stance from the beginning of the season remains unchanged. Noel contract demands we find some way to move him soon.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
Does anyone think with Minnesota struggling that Thibs could do a panic trade? They need defense. Does anyone think we could trade Noel for LaVine? I don't think Thibs would do it but does anyone think since they are losing he could do it? And would you even trade Noel for Wiggins? Who would you want beteeen LaVine and Wiggins? I would prefer LaVine. Since Wiggins is seen as the Better player and a fan favorite I think LaVine would Ben more likely to be traded if one had to be dealt.

Noel for LaVine would be a dream come true. I would prefer LaVine, and don't think Wiggins would be available.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
Probably not that exact trade. But a panic trade could involve guys like Noel, Covington, Henderson, etc who are good defenders. Covington would allow Wiggins to play the two.
Rubio/Dunn
Wiggins/Henderson
Roco/Shabazz
KAT/Payne
Noel/Dieng
It probably needs more, but that team is very strong defensively, especially with KAT & Noel.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
You guys think you would be interested in something like this?
Denver Nuggets
Incoming Players
Mario Hezonja
Dario Saric
One of Ilyasova or Henderson
2019 Lakers 1st round pick
Outgoing Players
Danilo Gallinari
Will Barton
Jameer Nelson
Gets rid of a glut at SG and gives Denver a young SG/SF prospect that is good friends with Nurkic and can develop into a player. Saric will allow the Nuggets to trade both Faried and Arthur closer to the deadline.
Orlando Magic
Incoming Players
Danilo Gallinari
Nerlens Noel
Jameer Nelson
Outgoing Players
Jeff Green
Mario Hezonja
Elfrid Payton
2019 Lakers 1st round pick
Orlando is under pressure to make the playoffs this year, and their 2 biggest holes are SF and interior defense, this fixes that and should get them into the playoffs.
Philadelphia Sixers Trade Breakdown
Incoming Players
Will Barton
Jeff Green
Elfrid Payton
Outgoing Players
Nerlens Noel
Dario Saric
One of Ilyasova or Henderson
They need back court help as bad as anybody and while Payton is not great he is considerably better than what they have as is Barton.

Not only do I hate that trade I REALLY HATE it. I don't want Payton. I don't want another PG who can't shoot. Barton would be good for us so I wouldn't mind him but I don't care for Jeff Green. So 2 players I don't want. No thanks.

I don't understand how their current season could be seen as a big disappointment. They have been a bad team the whole time, and they just haven't broken though yet. It isn't like they were expected to be good and they are failing. They were HOPING to be good.
There is no reason to panic.
I would trade Noel for Lavine if I could, but I doubt that they would entertain that.

I don't like it at all for Philly. And the Philly inclusion is awkward as Noel would add to a center logjam of Biyombo and Vucevic, so they would need another deal asap.
But I really like the basic idea of a Jeff Green + incentive for Gallo straight deal between the teams. I posted one earlier today on the trade board (with a variant having Detroit as the third team) -- viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1494927
Curious your take.

No offense, but this trade doesn't make sense for any team but your Denver Nuggets.
For the Sixers Elfrid Payton is a bigger version of McConnell and since he can't shoot he's a terrible fit for Simmons since they both need the ball in their hands. Jeff Green will be a one year rental, but we're not interested in winning right now and personally I don't like him at all. So basically Barton for Nerlens Noel, Dario Saric and one of our vets.
Orlando heavily invested in a rim protector this offseason, Bismack Biyombo. Combine that with their current logjam at the C/PF spots with Vucevic, Ibaka and Gordon, acquiring Noel and Gallinari (who's best position is probably PF) doesn't make sense at all. Certainly not at the price of their recent high first round picks (Payton and Hezonja) and a future 1st rounder.
