I agree that the Nets shouldn't trade Lin for Payton.
Bojan: 14.2ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.3apg on .34 3P%, .46 FG%, .89 FT%
Gordon: 9.3ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.9apg on .28 3P%,
.38 FG%, .59 FT%
please define the term "infinitely"
for all intents and purposes, both of these players are scrubs for their own reasons
I don't believe Bogdanovic has much trade value, he is about to become a free agent and get paid. One of the worst defenders in the league, his multi-year RAPM is -3.24 which puts him at 652 among 658 players and at 27 he is what he is.
Gordon is 21. Drafted 4th overall in 2014. Still on a rookie contract. He had and still has great potential. He is a diamond in the rough. At the very least he projects to be a very solid defender, able to defend multi positions and be a very good glue guy.
While still raw and a work in progress (and being jerked around in a bad organization), his potential is still magnetizing and there's no team in the league that would consider giving him up for a guy like Bogdanovic who isn't seizing the opportunity with the Nets to blow up this year.
Bogdanovic has everything to really establish himself on a team like this (and prop up his value at the trade deadline). I guess there's still time, but he has been underwhelming.
