Zizic was very good against Strasbourg. His stats don't show his impact on the game.
I was impressed by his passing skills.

About Yabusele, a lot of people are excited about him.
Don't get me wrong, I like him. I saw him play two years in France, he is a good player.
I don't think he can be an NBA player. Not even a role player.

He is having fun in China, but watching the highlights, he has not improved his game at all. I don't like to see him shoots so many 3's (5 attempts/game), he has a big body and should go Inside the paint. The choice of playing in China was bad for his career.

He definitely showed he has the size, skill base and athletic tools to be an effective NBA player in the summer league. It will come down to his feel for the game, his competitive passion, and his work ethic. If those are strong, he will have an NBA career, perhaps a long and storied one. I have no problem with him taking a ton of 3s; that is almost a requirement for success as a 6-7 power forward in today's NBA.

Yeah, not sure China serves him much purpose except he's getting minutes and in shape. His footwork needs the most work but I think he's very skilled. A full offseason in our program should do wonders for him. I can see him having a great SL and being on the team and in the rotation next year.

What exactly were the alleged superior options at 16? Henry Ellenson?

Wouldn't be surprised if he was a 2nd stash year as well. A deep web of game theory/cap and roster management questions to reasonably analyze that one would be needed. "A wasted pick" is kind of a blunt way of looking at a really nuanced thing.

“It’s not a problem for me, even if I got to go one year, two years in Europe, in another country and play, I’ll go. I just want to play in the NBA and try to be better, so it’s great.” – Guerschon Yabusele

He might end up being a 2nd year Stash.
Though, I'm not sure what are the upcoming Rules for Two-Way Contracts.
Smitty mentioned that it may not extend to 1st Round Draft picks. But if it does, then Yabusele might be utilized with that next year.

I bet he's a 20 year stash like Ben Pepper.

Shooting 3s is exactly what he should be doing.
If he can't stretch the floor he can't play in the NBA.

It's one of the reasons I was happy to see him go to China. He gets to defend a decent amount of borderline NBA talent (most teams use one of the big-money non-asian slots on a big sometime 2) and play somewhere they'll let him shoot 3s all year. I want to see him come back with a 33-38% 3pt stroke and some defense, if he does he'll get a 2 way deal next year and be a rotation guy the year after.

Sharks won vs. Josh Smith & Sichuan Blue Whales, 102-90. They're now 10-1 in the season.

I think he's so Draymond it's funny.

I ask hesitantly --- are we *sure* we can't call him fat?

Malcolm Miller joins Maine... while Abdel Nader sits with an injury.

http://www.pressherald.com/2016/11/25/sports-digest-red-claws-sign-miller-nader-out-with-injury/
Miller was signed from the available player pool and has been activated for the Red Claws’ game Saturday against Raptors 905.

The 6-foot-6, 200-pound Miller, who is no relation to the Malcolm Miller that played all of last season for Maine, played collegiately at Southern and has spent the last two seasons playing overseas.

Nader was deactivated after suffering a shoulder injury in the Red Claws’ loss to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Tuesday. Through six games, Nader, a power forward, was the Red Claws’ leading scorer with 24.3 points per game.

I wonder if Nader could play Jerebko's role in the rotation. If he could come in rebound, make some 3's and play ok defense I'd love to give him a chance.

One really nice drive to the basket. Good hops used well for a couple of scores. A calm set-shot 3. Good recoveries after he fumbled a couple of other dribbles. Etc.

Good but not amazing.

I think that is the purpose. He is an energy big and can shoot 3s and defend stretch 4s and power 3s
