The Pelicans have looked so much better since he's come back...they're 5-2 in the games that he's played in with wins against Portland, Charlotte, and Atlanta. He's averaging 17 and 6 in only 27 mpg on 50% from the field and 45% from 3. Those shooting percentages will obviously come down as the season progresses, but he still shoots 44% from the field and 37% from 3 for his career.

please Lord, answer my Knicks prayers just this 1 time

I've always felt Jrue was a little underrated.

Now based on how poorly Noah has played until now I don't think that is happening lol, but let's say Noah eventually plays better I think there is some slight hope there that you can maybe pull a trade in the offseason and supposedly Rubio is one of the players Thibs would be willing to trade.

Hmmm...draft pick plox

??? If you mean Thibs wants draft picks. I don't think so. He wants to win ASAP.

What I mean is, we want draft picks. What are we going to do with Rubes? Put him in the pg spot then shift Rose in the sg pos?

He sure as hell is not coming here though

i agree. if I was CP3 i would want to play with Kawhi Leonard because he is another top 5 player. CP3 + Kawhi + Lamarcus + Pop is at least 2 guaranteed championships. In fact I'm pretty sure that is where he goes after the clips lose in the 2nd round again.

CP3 is NOT worth the risk. Dude never stays healthy. What good would it be to have him lead us to a decent season only to fall apart toward the end. That would be like like having Jason Kidd all over again. Awesome during the season, awful during the postseason.

I think it was more the injury bug that kept his hype down. He's good, but it always felt like as he was rising he'd get hurt.

I now he's a polarizing figure around here but I'd honestly rather roll with Jennings for another year or two than committing to Rose.

I'm on record here saying Jennings should be here next season...even if Rose leaves, he's a keeper and, I expect he won't command huge $$$'s

Lol I'm assuming Rose isn't here if we go after Rubio. But honestly Rose's best role now is to be a combo guard off the bench sixth man type or a starting SG if you have the right roster fit.

I actually assumed Jrue was hurt right now but he's actually been away because his wife has a brain tumor. I gotta think his brother being here would favor the Knicks too.

As long as he defends and hits the three. It's not like we don't complain about our current "shooting guard" playing pg.

No I actually love what the Pelicans are doing with him and Tim Frazier. Instead of handcuffing Holiday and asking him to just be a pass first PG, they have put him and Frazier together in the backcourt and allowed Holiday to score. If you watch that video, you will see Holiday doing the exact same thing people on here complain about Rose doing, looking off other shooters, forcing shots and looking for his because that's what his coaches want him to do.

Imagine if the Knicks had a 6'5" guard that can shoot and create his own shot as well as create for others, we would be a much better team. We have no such guard on the roster

jrue is legit. just can't stay on the court. i'd take him in a heartbeat. but even on a discount, there's risk to account for with him.

DRose should be resigned if he stays the course. He looks good out there and he isnt playing like a mad animal like Russell right now who scares me everytime he bulldozes to the basket. Rose does it in doses.

I think Justin is better as a forward than a guard. He really lacks playmaking ability to play in the back court. Now a DRose - JrueHoliday back court would be dynamic but that will never happen

That's fine. If Rose played D and could hit the 3, too, hell yea, it would be fine. That means he brings value when he's not dribbling. To be fair, Rose has gotten a little better on D, but yea. Also, the Pelicans have a winning record with Jrue.
