Yeah doc wasnt comparing lin to chris paul... just point out that like those guys he is one of our 2 best players.

Its pretty clear no matter where you stand on lin that he is better then a 2nd round pick and an undrafted rookie. maybe we dont win any of those games with him but they are at the least not huge blowout losses

doesn't mean the w/l would've changed dramatically either.... Lin's best play is still not that of CP/Blake.... so i'm not gonna act like ohh he's our equivalent to a CP/Blake... Take them two off the LAC and its a different horrible team. Take Lin out, not so sure about the difference.

16 games, Lin has played in 5 games. 2-3 record.

no one said Lin is at CP3/Blake level.

Docs point was there is a big drop off with him out to the next guy

Lin is getting some great reps as an assistant coach tho. Should be good for his post playing days

Seriously, it's an awesome example for the young guys. When you're injured, you dont sulk on the bench, you take it as a learning experience and try to help as much as possible.

yeah the guy isn't sitting there staring into space. he's engaged and actually taking notes.

if that was deron williams he wouldn't even bother to show up for games to support the team or do half of this stuff.

Both Lin and LeVert are out for tomorrow's game vs Bucks

Lin's out a whole month. :( He hasn't missed this many games in a long time. Last season he missed 4 games.

2012 — 82 games
2013 — 71 games
2014 — 73 games
2015 — 78 games

The most he's missed in the last 4 years is 11 in one season, and they weren't all at one time. Sucks. He's been out 13 games including tomorrow. And counting.

I'm starting to wonder if they're being over cautious with everyone so that they can be traded if necessary. I'm not saying they're thinking of trading Lin now, in fact I doubt it, but it's a business and anyone can be traded.

I've been in business a long time and it's always about the bottom line. It's nice to think and hope it's true that they're so concerned about the players but playing them on average < 28 minutes a game and keeping players out with no information is odd to say the least.

I think they are just overly cautious with health as a franchise philosiphy. their med staff is huge and the spurs do the same.

Also, a hamstring is the one injury you dont rush back and should always keep a guy out longer after he is cleared. its the worst non-season ending injury you can get

I hope you're right on that. Their secrecy raises my suspicions though.

Last season he was playing as backup. Finally he has chance to start, but missed do many games already.

They aren't holding out Lin to trade him, a hamstring issue is something that can be reoccurring if its not healed properly. I don't know why anyone would think there is an ulterior motive behind keeping Lin off the floor til it's 100% healed.

Look at what happened with Will Barton from the Nuggets. Denver rushed him back from injury and he ended up getting hurt within a game or two after coming back. Is that what you guys want for Lin? I'd rather get him back for the long run and not sporadically.

I pulled my hammy playing baseball and was out for 4 months. Tried coming back sooner and re-aggravated it, really sucks.

If he needs to be out I'm all for it. What bothers me is the lack of information. Never seen a team that has been so unforthcoming with status and ballpark return dates. Forget Lin - what about RHJ - heard anything? LeVert has practiced twice with the team still no return date.

Exactly, this point is not him coming back too soon from the hamstring or not. It's information. Anyone player but especially the major players like Lin, Lopez, Booker, RHJ, or Skil are out more than 2 weeks then I think there should be much more detailed information on what's going on with them and not the vague stuff that is coming out of Kenny Atkinson's mouth. Not that I'm blaming him, this feels like the organization's decision of how to handle injuries, and I think they go too far in withholding information.

Not sure how accurate this website is but it has RHJ as game time decision, Lin and LeVert out until "at least Dec. 5"

all "out until dec 5th" really means is not playing tonite....

hopefully they are back next week.

as far as info goes, there is no benefit to the team on giving alot of details and we have no beat writer from most of the big papers to get that info out

and i'm glad. Keep things in house. This is much better than the constant leaks of info coming from Bobby Marks to Robert Windrem's ears
