He's been consistently a bad defender since his first minutes with us and scouting reports never saw him as a defender, otherwise he would have been drafted higher.

It doesnt matter how good starter plays when Bobby can go in and *** things around in 2 in half minutes. He must be one of worst players in NBA if not THE worst

I wonder how much better or worse Portis would be if Fred actually had him play his normal position at PF. Maybe try playing him with Lopez.

Yea he was never a defender but he use to make good use of his minutes. He would come in scoring and getting boards. He definitely regressed because last year he could at least hit a jumper.

In practice whoever is mired in a shooting slump should just go against Bobby 1v1. It won't be long before that player is on fire again with confidence.
