So wassup that he didn't get to play in the Kings game, even during trash time?

They gonna waive him?

I thought I saw some improvement in terms of his aggressiveness.

He played like 35 min in the d-league on the same day so they probably gave him the day off. If they bench him in a blow out today than that's not a good sign, He looks good offensively to me so it's probably his consistency on d that's keeping him from the rotation but even there i've seen flashes where he looks good just needs to focus more on his d.

he has been beyond awful offensively. worst finsihing ive maybe ever seen from a big, even when there isnt traffic around him. some tunnell vision at times. poor shooting from three. nothing on the offensive glass. 52 TS%. really tough to find any positives other then a good attitude.

He showed some positive against OKC, non-trash time. And those offensive rebounds the next game were nice. Apparently played well in d-league.

CMC played in d-league as well but he still played in that game. It was only four minutes, is it necessary?

Anyways, AB did play the last game in trash time, so that's got nothing to do with him being waived.

Too bad about AB. Despite good form, he couldn't really shoot, and his slow twitch muscle fibers made it seem like he was constantly stuck in molasses. It was infuriating to see him blocked all the time on dunk attempts. He did seem to rebound okay and be able to get to the line. AB was terrible based on the eye test though his PER, RPM, and Off Rtg and Def Rtg weren't terrible relative to the rest of the team. Not sure why AB seemed to have the shortest leash re: playing time but those are the breaks. It's too bad. I had this romantic notion that Kenny Atkinson and the vaunted Nets development system could rehabilitate a physical specimen like AB but it seems like AB is irredeemable.

It'll be interesting to assess at season's end who REALLY developed at all this year.

On a personal level, I feel bad for Bennett. He had a great attitude but he just had no confidence and it didn't work out. I'd love a comeback story if he's ever able to put it together.

Yeah.. he seem like a nice person with a fuzzy bear personality that lacks the confidence to compete with the big boys of the NBA. I was rooting for him to make it because he is really a good kid , but also very frustrating watching him play at the same time. :noway:
