As soon as Curry fouls out KD can't do nothing. Proving this is Currys team/his production is a product of Curry being on the floor

Stock up = Harden, Chris Paul

Stock down = LeBron
Jokic 31/21/22
Luka & Oscar = 5 x 27/8/8
The Brodie = All-out energy

It's between Harden & Russ. LeBron hasn't done anything impressive this season.

Bro he is impressive every year but i think last 3 seasons he doesnt worry that much about numbers i think, he is all about the rings cause thats what he needs am i right? Just look at his first campaign in Cleveland, those the years he worried bout numbers and MVP award is all about numbers. Harden and Westbrook are in those years when you think about triple doubles and statistics cause you cant win championships. Sorry for my english

Between harden and westrbook. Lebron stock is down right now . Doubt he's aiming for MVP this year.

Curry is once again the MVP. He is the most valuable player on easily the best team. But he is virtually ineligible due to 1- winning twice in a row, 2-Durant and 3-the finals loss. It should be an interesting year as people look for any excuse not to give another MVP to Curry.

Here are the On/Off ratings for the Warriors so far. Curry is easily the most valuable.
Curry- 21.5
Green-9.8
Durant- 9.3

How the hell is the difference between Green and Steph so big? They play almost identical minutes.

West and Iguodala have played well this year. Iguodala isn't a direct substitute but he really helps any random lineup when Green isn't in. Curry, Durant and any random big have done reasonably well. Livingston, Klay and McCaw are having bad years, which means that when Curry leaves the game the Warriors collapse.

Curry this year? No way man, other leading players wont allow him trust me, Russ first in that row, you can see his numbers.

Westbrook does have good numbers, although Harden's are better. But historically it has been virtually impossible for the "best stats" guy to beat out a superstar when there is a huge win disparity. This year could be the exception though. Voters are going to be heavily biased against Curry.

I hope okc or huston will win atleast 55 games. Atleast one of Harden and Westbrook deserves the MVP. With the amount of load they had to carry night in and night out, and still producing monster numbers consistently.

Just here to point out that the 2012 OKC team had the current top 3 MVP candidates AND a guy that would subsequently get serious DPOY consideration.

:( What if, man. What if. What if Brooks hadn't been that stubborn in the Finals. What if Beverley injured somebody else. What if the NBA didn't apply the Rose rule to Durant without the Thunder asking for it. What if Presti would have just payed up.

What if. Sigh.

They drafted well. Harden could have taken the offer and what's his face could have stayed. 2013 is the only year that bugs me, and Russ forgave Bev for that. If that's good by him, same for me.

2013 bothers me too but for different reasons.
That was supposed to be the year of the championship culmination had the Thunder not cheapened out and traded Harden.
All the markers were there and they were on a clear trajectory to not only compete for championships but possibly dominate the West and rival what was going on in Miami.

Granted I'm a Rockets fan and I love the Harden trade for obvious reasons, but I was also heavily invested in that OKC team. I was impressed by the way they climbed from lottery to the Finals in just three years, built around three young guys who genuinely liked each other and had fun playing together. I enjoyed watching them dispatch the old Western Conference hierarchy of Spurs, Mavs, and Lakers.
They were easy to root for.

But ultimately things happen for a reason and the slow disassembling of that Thunder team has yielded three separate MVP caliber players giving us an amazing season so far.

Yeah pretty much agree. That 13 team is just the year I thin t I remember being most dominant and as a fan felt it was their time. Great post. And to be honest Harden never would have become this amazing a player in OKC. He was definitely really really good, but not this. And now I'm glad he gets some recognition for it.
