Can't tell you how ecstatic I am to see this kid play. He rocks one of my favorite numbers and he was a 50/44/80 player in college before going down.

My expectations are low but my anticipation is high.

When was the last time we had a wing who could crossover while running and actually attack the basket? VC?

He's always looking to drive to make the interior pass.

When I said run, I meant do it faster than 2mph. Marshon did everything like he was posing for the perfect angle. Slow and smooth lol...

The offense there looks a lot like ours. Good eye from Marks looks like he'll be a good fit.

I like the fact we're taking the Embiid approach with Caris. Can't wait to see his debut. His shot form is Thompson-esque.

That's nice. Focus on practicing threes and spotting up. Embiid is shooting great. Foot injuries for both.

Uzi Vert! (any new school rap fans should catch the reference.)

Every excited to see him on the court. Wasn't expecting him to be ready until January.

What are his comparables? How does he measure out physically to his likely comp? What will be his core skillsets to bring to the big show?

I dont follow college ball much. Highlights and scouting reports i've read on him so far make him out to be a big time scorer in college and a likely jack of all trades combo type in the NBA (although with decent size). Massive injury worries of course as well since he's been cut down by season ending injuries multiple time already.

He's a bit "old" already at the ancient age of 22, so who knows what his growth potential to be. If he close to a finished product or can he grow some more.

Things gonna be more interesting now....

The best physical NBA comparison would be Khris Middleton.

LeVert: 6'7
Middleton: 6'6 (without shoes)
LeVert: 7'1 wingspan
Middleton: 6'10 wingspan

Both have about the same skill set. Scoring talent, beautiful jump shot, very good court vision due to size and handle, hard to control in transition due to the wingspan just like Middleton.

I wouldn't get caught up on his age. CJ Mcollum came into the league at 22. Had a foot injury in his rookie season and didn't breakout until 24.
