Game 21: Pistons (10-10) @ Hawks (10-9) - 8:00 PM EST

Post#1 » by Jaisy » Fri Dec 2, 2016 12:02 pm

Tonight hot Pistons will be in Atlanta, taking the Hawks team. Two teams with excellent starting 5s and SVG vs coach Budenhozer. This is our last game w/o Reggie, I believe. Having 11-10 record right before his comeback.. it would be perfect. ATL is on a bad streak but they are quite strong at home. The 00's best center taking.. Dre the beast born in NY. This is a matchup to watch. DEEEETROOIIT BASKETBAAAALL!

I wonder if Dre considers Howard part of his marquee center matchups. Hope so.

it's going to be a good test for the offense, let's see if they can keep rolling. atlanta recently passed the clippers so now they have the best defense on the year.

being above .500 with reggie coming back would be huge.

I'm pessimistic on this one. Great road win in Boston, but not sure if we can get another against Atlanta.

What the hell happened to Atlanta? They just had one of the best records in the east like a week ago and now they are at .500.

Millsap might be out. That would be nice.

This will be a desperate Hawks team. The Pistons are back to being that mercurial team of last year, which is a lot better than the disjointed mess that started the season. I bow to those who have the foresight to make predictions on how this will play out.

What happened to them was a western road trip. No Milsap would be a plus as he's always tough. He's listed as "questionable," but are we ever that lucky?

Are we ever that lucky? Hell naw. Milsap will probably feel the best he's ever felt in his career and whatever that question is will be taken away.

Wish we had Tim Hardaway Jr backing up Pope. Would love to swing a deal for him.

This feels like a loss. But winning in Boston showed us we are getting better. 3 road wins in a row will be tough.

Hawks have a lot of guys who can shoot from range, a talented workhorse in Milsap, great team defense, and overall continuity (they have been together for awhile and they know how to play together). They play their roles well. And at home, they can be a hug problem.

All that being said, I think we win this game. We've weathered the toughest schedule in the league. It's time to show how battle tested we truly are.

Milsap is a Pistons killer. Hopefully he doesn't play...

i was surprised when i saw that too. based on some of the threads on their board it looks like their offense is in the pits right now.

This feels like a trap game, I could see us getting blown out tonight.

Great player. One of the most perpetually understated and underrated players I've seen. There's nothing he doesn't do well. He's going to get paid this off-season. Wish we had the cash for him.

As always looking for a good game. Pistons win would be great, but ok with good game, if we blow them out that's cool too.

Considering our record, this really could go really good or really bad.

Our past history with the Hawks aren't great either, they seem to always have a good way to kill us. Especially Milsap.

Agree...but we missed on him the 2 times we should've went after him.

The CV/BG off-season & then again a few years later.

Now he's at that point where it's a real risk to pay him big time money...but I hope he gets it cause he's my guy

I always thought Maxiell was going to be like Millsap. Maybe never the 3 ball, but good mid range. I remember when he was younger you'd see little glimpses of him doing good stuff and htting mid range j's every now and again. It was the same with Millsap, but Millsap ended up putting it all together. Well that's how I seen it.
