I don't need to look at his stats. He played really good defense all night and made the correct play down the other end most of the night. He's going to miss some shots some games (he's not the only one that has done it. look at our players fg%'s this season), but I'm capable of analysing a game past just fgm/fga. He **** up the last play, but he should not carry the sole blame from this loss. That's just ludicrous. You'll notice I praised other players too.

Nobody carries sole blame. But when identifying issues.... 3 points in 29 minutes from Payton and betting on the Magic to win is not something anyone would put money down on. That's a losing bet.

I wish more of the Elf Defenders would be more realistic than bias.

Except we were up by 14 with under 5 minutes to play with those 3 points from Elfrid. Partly because of his play. I wish people would find a new whipping boy.

Except none of that matters. We took the L. We lost because we needed more from him. People are not dogging him for no reason. His inconsistencies and lack of significant improvement from his rookie year to now make him the deserving whipping boy.

He's strung together multiple good games in a row and has been consistently amongst our best players all season. We needed more from everybody in the last stretch in the 4th last night. Because he's the whipping boy, we'll put it all squarely on him I guess.

This is actually the first time I've seen anyone actually call him the whipping boy, but I do have to say he earned that title.

Probably the same reason you haven't made one--nobody cares enough. By all means though, for as much as you wish to be negative and mock anyone who isn't trying to live in the same misery, go make a dunce thread, go make a "We Suck" thread, whatever you want.

My life is complicated enough, I don't need to take one of the few things that allows me to forget about real problems for an hour or two and make it another source of negativity. I'm sure a lot of other people agree. It's not about safe spaces and liberal fascism.

So basically.....

Too negative... everybody's a winner... blah blah blah

No, not at all actually.

Nothing is stopping you or anyone else from doing it. I don't understand why you expect someone else to make the thread. If you, NEM, Orlwillbeback, and whoever else would like to start dunce threads, knock yourselves out.

I'm just saying, we aren't very good, I and others can handle it, and I'll just invest more of myself into it when we are good enough to watch. I'm not going to actively seek a source a negativity. You and NEM seem to think this is about a rah rah effort to hand out participation trophies and pretend we are good. I'm sure anyone else agrees that it's just pointless to discuss how crappy we are and beat the same speculative points home over and over and over.

One of these days I'm going to go look up what fascism actually means.

Probably not today though.

Usually associated with the "right wing". It's basically an authoritarian and nationalistic way of looking at things or procedure with a complete intolerance of other views or ways.

It's not about his game. Its his mentality. He has all the talent to be a great player.

I'm beginning to wonder if that's true. He certainly has a sweet stroke. If you mean he has the physical tools, that appears to be the case. We know he's an arrogant prick from stuff he has said during the interview process approaching and after the draft (and, well, even since then). If he can learn to focus that arrogance into motivation and drive to succeed, great, but so far it appears he's selected to focus it on just continuing to be an arrogant prick.

But overall I agree. I hope I'm wrong but I'm beginning to think he's just a headcase.

Fascism- extreme right-wing, authoritarian, or intolerant views or practice
Typical liberal.

People like you are why I can't tell people I'm a conservative. You validate every point liberals make and then I find myself accused of being like you.

Yes, I'm happy you learned how to use Google. While fascism is typically associated with "the right wing" you can apply an intolerant and authoritarian way of life from either side of the isle.

Learn to think.
