Why bother with either? Split the salary difference and make it Dedmon, a much better player than either of them, who signed for 2 years / $6m.

Neither. Seraphin has been unplayable save for one season. I don't believe in the idea of signing players and hoping they don't play much. You sign deep bench guys with the idea that if they're needed, they can step up. We know Seraphin isn't capable of this. He's only playing professional basketball so he can continue to enjoy KS life.

Sad but so true. Give him just average IQ/desire and he would have been a good player. I followed his twitter for awhile and it was clear he just wanted to get paid and have fun.

Interview with KS really shows how people felt around Wittman:

Read on Twitter

"(The year Paul Pierce arrived) may have been the hardest for me because I was really in shape. My playing time fluctuated without reason. I spoke a lot with Paul (Pierce) and John (Wall). And they did not understand. This summer, I met a staff member of the Wizards in a New York restaurant. He said, 'Your problem is that you got Randy Wittman.'"

I really believe Brooks ability to connect with players is going to really change the environment in the locker room. Now only if we could change the environment in the FO...

Looking at the game logs from 2013-14, I can understand why his play was limited, specifically because his rebounding numbers were bad. http://www.espn.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/4289/year/2014/kevin-seraphin

It's as easy as:

Ernie --> OUT

Troy Weaver (or Danny Ferry)--> IN

Suddenly, the team is interesting again.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

So JaVale earns the last roster spot with GSW.

Javale and Steph bonded a few years back during a game of Twister

The intensity of Draymond contrasting with the goofiness of JaVale should make for some powerful drama. Green is going to habitually look for reasons to kick JaVale in the dangly bits. Even just randomly. BJOOM! Boot to the chune! That's for not boxing out yesterday!

Seriously Draymond's fire in JaVale's body would be in conversation for Best Center ever in the HOF. Its gotta drive him nuts to see that talent wasted.

McGee slowly being added to the rotation, they have a way to use him in minutes minutes.

"Gives us dimension we don't have..."

Yes exactly, McGee is pretty much from a different dimension. Or planet, or universe...

The Spurs are keeping Jarell Eddie in their back-pocket via their D-League team, I won't be surprised to see him back this year in the sniper role.

Skeez, (Jordan Crawford) is in the D as-well.

While being eased into the rotation he's already managed to get himself featured on Shaqtin.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Yes, that's Nenê making a three-pointer

"The Houston Rockets lead the NBA in three-point attempts and makes. Everybody is letting it fly, even Brazilian big man Nenê, who came into this season with four three-pointers in 13 seasons. He’s already at a career-high two thanks to the three he made vs. Utah on Saturday. Nothing but net."

BTW, Jason Smith is making me miss Nene.

Love it that he intercepted a pass meant for a teammate. Does he get credit for a steal as well?

Nick Young is having a career year in LA. He is averaging 20 pts per 36 with an ORTG of 125 and a TS of 63%.

Ironic, they were trying to trade him and there were no takers, now he's is a key piece...on a bad team though.
