This one worries me, because we don't have anyone eve kinda sorta capable of guarding Davis. I mean we don't even really have anyone that you can put on him and at least make things tough on him. Sabonis is too small and not quick enough, and Adams just isn't quick enough period. Our best bet/hope, may be to put Grant on him in a smallball lineup and hope he can make up for the size difference with his athleticism.

I wonder where these teams would be if you swapped Westbrook and Davis.

Great. Davis may go off on us even more than he already is.

Sucks that people cheer for Buddy and then he plays awful. That would get in my head if I were a player.

What's with Westbrook and the high TOs? Product of trying to force the triple doubles?

Trying to create 100% of the offense and we're trying to play as fast as possible. His tov% is right in line with his career.

Also, clutchbrook gonna clutch.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Well, maybe, but it's mostly because he has the ball in his hands a ton. His usage rate is off the charts, so a lot of OKC possessions are beginning and ending with him. And it has to be that way. We just have to live wit the high TO games because having the bal lin Westbrook's hands that much is our best chance at winning.

Ends with 37 points on 32 shots and wasn't a factor in the fourth. Sabonis and grant did a solid job.

Yeah, when I saw that post about Adams being out the rest of the game, Davis already had 20+ points -- think it was 22 or 24. Good to see we somewhat held him down after that.

He ignited a run with his TOs that almost gave up the lead though. I actually thought the Thunder were finding pretty good offense from other guys too tonight.

My unpopular opinion is he's been worse over his recent triple double games than he was before the streak but the team keeps winning so

That was definitely something, game was unnecessarily close because everybody couldn't make their FTs. Russ seemed unusually grumpy for some reason. Hope Adams ankle isn't too bad. Also hope they don't shoot as bad against the Hawks. Good grind out win just because it was a win I guess.
