Huh, why?

I don't have anything against Bender, I actually like the kid. I just can't stand this constant whining about Bender's playing time by his fanboys. Oh, and Hezonja sucks donkey balls.

Can't disagree with you on Hezonja. He's indeed playing terrible right now. However I believe that general consensus about Bender's PT is justified.

He reminds me of Gordan Giricec, good size and a great shooter but he didn't want to play team ball and defense.

I am not high about Hezonja, I would prefer Stanley Johnson or Exum over him if we have the opportunity to trade for one of them.

You are worried about Hezonja being a bust when Len has been complete trash? Hilarious. You want to know what else is funny? Apparently everyone here thinks that Len deserves a new contract

I'm disappointed with Len too.

I was shocked when McDonough selected him over Noel because I didn't like him as a prospect but in his second season in the league he was really good defensively and finishing in the paint.
After that season he hasn't made any progress and we really need him to be better on both sides of the floor if we are going to pay him big time money. He can improve yet...but his awareness of the game is strictly bad so I don't expect him to be much better that he is now.

Regarding Hezonja, I just prefer to trade for other players. I think that Bogdanovic from the Nets (for example) can be a great addition to our core and he can provide that much needed shooting. He is an efficient scorer and decent defender.

Knight for Bogdanovic and call it a good day.

I'm with Gaspar on this. Wanting Watson to play Bender more is one thing. Acting like Watson has committed a crime against humanity because he hasn't played him is quite another.

Rumor has it the NBA scouts watching Bender are actually UN observers preparing a case to charge Watson with said crimes.

To be fair, I think it is properly outrageous that Marquese is chomping on DRAGAN BENDER's minutes.

I love the way Dragan's been playing. Dude comes in cold off the bench and just quickly hits threes. His help defense is solid, but he doesn't bag. He can even drive a bit - had that pass into Len on the drive in the second half against GS. He'll be a really interesting player once he gets strong enough to play the 4.

Came up with this idea for a trade. What do you think?

Bulls trade: Michael Carter-Williams, Denzel Valentine, Rajon Rondo (waived)
Bulls get: Brandon Knight, PJ Tucker, John Jenkins

Bucks trade: Thon Maker, Greg Monroe, Bucks 2017 (lotto protected)
Bucks receive: Eric Bledsoe

Suns trade: Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight, PJ Tucker, John Jenkins
Suns receive: Michael Carter-Williams, Denzel Valentine, Thon Maker, Bucks 2017 (lotto protected), Greg Monroe, Rajon Rondo (waived)

Carter-Williams/Ulis
Booker/Valentine
Warren/Dudley
Monroe/Chriss/Bender
Len/Maker*

*Assuming we deal Chandler to whatever team he would go to after we tear up the towel and burn it.

Can't we all just get along? :) I prefer both players to become all stars. Wishful thinking, I know...

So do I but I also know that I'm a million miles away from the inner circle of this team and that my opinion has very little substance to it. Wanting to see Dragan play is reasonable for any fan, calling for Watson's head because it hasn't happened much makes no sense.

We are fans we have to blame somebody for something..it just happens to be Watsons turn for blame game. Next week back to Knight and maybe sprinkle a little towards McD because of Knight

I've read twice in the crap click bait trade rumors pages of Knight going to the Warriors for Livingston.

I'd do Livingston and David West for Knight but it doesn't add up still 2mil apart

Not a bad idea, but IMO it is too big (a really blockbuster trade) and I don't like the players that we receive. I wouldn't make this trade.

Rondo is playing good basketball so I don't think he is traded. And If he is traded he isn't gonna be waived because he is not that bad even for a rebuilding team.

This won't work if we are going for Cousins. I assume that is what McD is aiming for right now.

Bledsoe for that steaming pile? I'm at a loss for words.

Anyone mind filling me in on what Tyson Chandler's status is with the Suns? How's he playing at his advanced age, is the team still happy with him, are they looking to move him, etc?

Generally we like his play but when Len showed up after Tyson got injured, a lot of us feel like Len (RFA after the season) should be starting to make sure throwing all that money at him will be worth it.

Any sense what the team themselves are thinking? Is this a thing management wants to do or just fan based?

If they look to move him, what are they looking for in return?

I guess we are handing out contracts to make ourselves feel better. Our coach, record and lineup is complete trash. How about Len earn that contract by playing consistently?

In other words we need to use more minutes to evaluate him for a contract extension.

The FO is extremely hard to get a gauge on. They're extremely tight-lipped about pretty much everything, especially trades. Taking an educated guess on what it would require to move Chandler... probably wouldn't cost much at all because he's 34.

I think we have seen what Len offers. That is why I'm saying he hasn't shown that he deserves a new contract.

He did appear to play much better without anybody (Tyson) looking over his shoulder. That stretch (without Tyson) was the best stretch of his career. He could just be a Goran Dragic type of guy who needs that belief in the form of being the main guy (i.e. he needs trust and not having to look over his shoulder). He has all the physical attributes and by all accounts he works hard and succeeds in practice which makes me think it's all in his head.

As you said, we're not a good team and I think we're wasting time by playing Chandler.. Like it or not, Len is up for an extension and we need all the information we can get to make an informed decision (to extend or not and if so, by how much?). The best way to do that is to evaluate him in the role he may potentially have moving forward (as a starter with 28-30 mpg).

I'm not sure if you are joking about practice. If Len is anything like Dragic and needs to be babied then maybe we should trade him to Miami. I hear that they are giving out ridiculous contracts.

I would love to hear from anyone here about where/how Len fits on this team. The NBA is moving away from big men. I would rather just keep Chandler if we are putting together a future plan.
