Danny's .02:
1. Protection Schemes
Britt is gimpy but should play. I love Joey Hunt, but when i watch the bad protection from last week it looks like failure to react by the center. I expect the schemes to be better, but Hopefully Britt is solid on that ankle.
2. Offensive
Even with all that pressure last week I feel our offensive coordination was bad and could have reacted with screen passes and short Joe Montana passing, but no... Hopefully we don't have the pressure and can run the normal game plan, but if Russell is under pressure, Daryl best adjust this week.
3. Bennett and the Jets?
I don't recall Pete talk about rushing a guy back before the Bennett injury, and to be honest I do feel the Luke Wilson injury was rushing him back and then him going down right on that sucker. The defensive has been pretty good in his absence, so if he's rushing back, it better not cost us a longer stint without him when it matters in the playoffs.
4. Chalkboard material
Sherm has been vocal about Cam getting served karma in missing the playoffs. Hopefully we can serve some more karma for all the grandstanding Cam did against us.
5. Xman of the game prediction:
Lockett... he had a few whiffs last week, which is unlike him. I don't know if he has the jets and quick cuts he normally has with this nagging knee injury, but I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a few big play over the shoulder basket catches this week.
