EP I'd consider trading, Jeff Green has to go, but I don't want to trade Hezonja yet.

It turns out that, contrary to initial belief, you need to use AG in a very opposite way than you use Paul George on offense.

Yep. For now at least. Maybe in the future his BBIQ will improve on offense and he can start making plays off the dribble, but I imagine it's gonna take a while for those pieces to fall in place having seen how out of his depth he was to start the season. He really had no real killer instinct off the dribble.
Maybe once he learns to hit the spot up jumpers he can use that to get defenders off balance and then use his dribble to make a play closer to the rim. And then once he's mastered that he can look to do all that with the ball in his hands. He's gotta get a much better sense of how offenses move, and how to disrupt defenses first, though.

Don't believe these two underlined. Second that is way too much to give up for Gay and Knight.
You don't believe I've been a magic fan for 20+ years? Interesting, considering I've been a poster on realgm since 2003 alone and many posters on here can attest to me being on the magic board the entire time. Changed my user name a few times. Started with tmac_orl, then d12_orl, then RawLewD12, and now NEM because I got tired of my favorite players leaving. I'll always be a fan. I don't like this current team or it's GM but continue to watch and even spend money by going to games.
Also, my account wasn't hacked. Idk how to prove that, but yeah definitely wasn't hacked. I was/am negative about this team because it is clearly flawed, yet the person responsible for that is nowhere to be found. Not a rumor of him trying to improve on his mistakes. Nothing. When the team is good and they're winning, I don't bitch. I defend them against the ones bitching. Sorry for wanting my team to be better than they have been..
Nope, I don't believe any of this crap. You NEVER have anything positive to say about the team only negative. So why both being a fan of a team you hate so much?

You may have signed up in 2003, but I don't remember seeing you around the Orlando Magic board as NEM until around Dwight's final season. I remember RawLewD12 however, it must have been when you changed to NEM that you also became negative Nancy. Also your personal attack against me on page 1, I reported it.

Why? If you read my posts prior to the season I said that when Payton plays aggressive we're very good and that if his shot improves that he'd be very good. (paraphrasing). At the beginning of the season I heaped praise when he was playing aggressive and at least attacking the basket. I still think we need an upgrade at starting PG because imo he's a back up. Nothing has changed.

I guess I miss all the posts where you praise EP and just seem to log on when you demolish him

I guess so. If by demolish you mean appropriately criticize him when he deserves it, then yes. I guess I "demolished" him.

Everyone who posts here is a fan of the team; some are just a lot more critical than others.
People need to stop getting so wrapped up in how others feel about the coach, players, GM, or team. Argue points, not feelings.
We're all in this together. #puremagics

Praising the fact that players are buying in on Vogel's defensive schemes and making us currently one of the top defensive teams in the league! Praising the fact that we slowly but surely becoming a much better offensive team as the team chemistry has been steadily growing over time.

Maybe. There's also plenty of players in the league who can be effective with the ball, heck sometimes that's all they can do. Maybe that's just not where his game is meant to go.
But there's more than just the usual, cookie cutter ways you hear about to be effective without the ball: hustle plays, rebounding, defense, etc. If he carves himself a role in the offense by doing things like posting up less athletic players, being a constant threat of making a cut to the basket, hitting shots off the catch, being a roll man, getting in for put backs, and those type of things . . . . all those can make an impact without necessarily taking the ball out of somebody else's hands. And most of it would work at either the 3 or 4. Just gotta get him involved.

Re: Praise Thread
A possible turning point for the team was when Biyombo got hammered by Gasol and Aaron Gordon stood up and was not going to let it slide, it didn't seem like the team chemistry was very good before that but I think that helped in some way
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.
