How many games behind would you expect us to be at 1/4 of the season?
We're at the #11 spot and below .500, that's lottery to me.

on a team that is currently trending upwards.... not in just games won.... but in demeanor, confidence and overall play. So yes.... I am happy with where we are now. Bet the Atlanta hawks thought they were hot sh** till they lost 10 of their last 11 games.

Everyone is getting better as the team begins to gel and that will also count for biz as well. When the team is firing on all cylinders.... then i will determine whether he is worth it.... or whether or not we are a lotto team or not. A 23 yo that ranked top 3 in defense at the rim is something to invest in.... especially when matching that person with a defensive minded coach. and yup... being 2.5 games behind the 3rd spot is a very very veeeeery tight race. One slip up.... or one run and this could all look different in only a weeks time.

You're comparing to Atlanta but he used to play por the Raptors, they're #2.

The point isn't for who he plays for..... the point is how things change and the flow of the season goes. Atlanta was at the top of the east only a couple weeks ago.... I bet their fans thought that they were a shoe in and competitors for the Finals.... I'm sure they have quickly tamed their expectations. needless to say we are only just beyond 1/4th of the way through the season.... and finally gaining traction and trending upwards.... so it is "very very veeeeery" presumptuous to write us off as a lotto team at this time. Hope you now understand the intended comparison.

1) Tobias was addition by subtraction.

2) Ibaka has been fantastic for us. Dipo is Dipo. He does some great things but he will never be Wade, as so many hoped. Ibaka fits a far greater position of needed. We have a gluttony of big men as is. Why are we crying over Sabonis?

3) AG is just 21 flipping years old. We don't know what he is. If his shot develops he can be a devastating SF. If not, he is a small ball PF. But at his age when this team isn't a title contender, it makes sense to explore a variety of roles for him. Find out what we have now, before we have to pay him.

I believe he's a little over paid but right now he's worth it to us. The salaries are getting crazy and even if you end up wanting to move him down the line i don't think we'd have to much trouble doing so.

Yup. Contracts are going to continue to get even crazier as more players hit free agency and the cap spikes one more time.

Everything is relative people. Relative to salaries we are used to, Biz is WAAYYY overpaid. But we no longer live in that world. Relative to salaries in today's market, Biz is in the ballpark of where he should be.
