Hey earl, I'm sorry for questioning you keeping the bench in.

Suns have given up. Zero effort in the last few minutes. Disrespecting the veterans there.

Yeah. Embarrassing lack of effort.

The Suns need to actively be tanking. They have to. It's sad if they arent.

Wow that was embarrassing.

Even though we're terrible and get our asses kicked on the regular, I could at least live with it because we usually compete until the last minute. That last lineup completely quit on the game. Lackadaisical defense, loose turnovers with the ball in the open court, at least a dozen missed wide open shots, allowing a freaking offensive rebound on a free throw, not fighting for loose balls. That's just horse ****.

I thought we were competitive for three and a half quarters. Difference was free throws and then we ran out of gas at the end.

You guys should stop comparing Booker with Klay. I've been watching Booker closely the past few games and his defense sucks. This is game 22 and I haven't seen the offensive explosion like in the preseason games or maybe because its just the preseason. Please don't tell me that it's because he's carrying an injury because if you are playing you are not injured. He's really pissing me off because I thought the Suns FINALLY got a starting 2 guard. :banghead:

Add to that.. The suns are crap.

Good teams tend to still win against mediocre teams even if its their second game of a back to back.

Suns were tired combined with being a bad team in general.

Sorry but I don't buy that. I know Watson hate is the cool thing around here right now, but he did nothing wrong tonight outside of not riding Ulis more in the second half with all of our guard struggling. This is 100% on the players not putting in any effort in a game they were in the position to win. It's not like Watson threw the end of the bench in with 5 minutes left and said let's pack it up, those were our starters out there not giving a ****.

You don't have to buy it. First off I never brought Watson up. I didn't even give Watson a - today. I never slam him. He's in a tough position. Secondly, to have everyone give up like that is a sign of disrespect to all parties involved. This is a product they are selling and it is a job of the owner and upper management to provide that product. Playing players that aren't contributing positively for the team=an employee getting preferential treatment at work when he isn't producing. We have all seen this stuff in a team setting. Animosity. Everybody gave up in the end.

I wish our offense consisted of more than a PnR to drive and kick to a wing iso..

LOL. He's barely 20 and a quarter of the way into his second season with subpar coaching. Relax.

You didn't bring him up by name, but who else do you consider the manager of a team during a basketball game? Unless you think that the team quit because they don't like McDonough or Sarver?

I agree that the front office needs to provide that product, but they aren't plugged into the brains of the players telling them when to give 100% and when to coast. The only person on this team tonight that deserves to be made that they didn't get the same treatment as the rest of the players despite producing positively is Ulis. I truly don't think a single player on the court outside of him can honestly say that they had a positive overall impact on the game, and there's certainly no one else who played significantly better than their counterpart in this game, so I don't see how they can have animosity towards someone else for not producing if they aren't producing themselves.

I don't know if you're right and the team is upset with how the team is being handled, if they just ran out of gas at the end, if we're stealth tanking and collapsing on purpose, or if that last lineup just gave up hope, but the players need to be held accountable for giving 100% effort just like Watson, McDonough, Sarver, and the entirety on this franchise need to be held accountable for constructing and coaching a watchable team. There's a certain professionalism that you expect from athletes, to compete and do what you can control regardless of the current situation, and this team did not show that at the end of the game.

I think subpar is an understatement. There is no motivation for him to kill himself for a lottery bound team. We need to start lining up those trades. Knight goes first and then Tucker. After that let a treadmill team max out Len.

Where was Klay at 20? I mean, this is like comparing apples to turducken if you expect him to be a good NBA defender at 20. Klay wouldn't have been. He was a middling defender in college.
