Please don't tell me that it's because he's carrying an injury because if you are playing you are not injured. He's really pissing me off because I thought the Suns FINALLY got a starting 2 guard.
LOL. He's barely 20 and a quarter of the way into his second season with subpar coaching. Relax.
Where was Klay at 20? I mean, this is like comparing apples to turducken if you expect him to be a good NBA defender at 20. Klay wouldn't have been. He was a middling defender in college.
He was learning his way at Washington St as a Soph, shooting 41% overall from the field and 36% from 3, hoping one day he could maybe play in the nba.

Re: Game 22: Pacers @ Suns
Haven't even watched the game yet, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Chriss/Tucker/Chandler/Booker/Bledsoe is not working. If we are going to suck, and clearly we are, since our two highest-paid players in their prime, Bledsoe and Knight, are going to suck, can we PLEASE just go to a line-up of:
Len/Chriss/Bender/Booker/Ulis
Len needs minutes to be productive--this 15 minutes-off-the-bench ain't working as well as when he was putting in 30 MPG; Bender might as well get some real minutes as well to see what he can do (and if he produces better than Chriss, then when Warren comes back--if he does and isn't traded--put Chriss to the Bench and start Warren and use Bender as a Stretch-4, or Warren as the 4, I don't care; and lastly, let's see what Ulis can give us in starter minutes before we draft a PG in the early lotto--maybe we don't need to?? IDK...
But either way, starting Tucker, Chandler, and honestly, Bledsoe and his paltry APG and 3PT% numbers aren't getting it done. Booker isn't either, really, but he's 19? 20? Not 27 and in his 7th season in the league, so I'll give him a pass, ESPECIALLY if he's playing next to said 27 YO PG...

How bad does Bender have to play for some of you before you to stop forcing him into the starting lineup?

Re: Game 22: Pacers @ Suns
I'm trying to find a reason to watch this game on NBA league pass replay.
But I'm looking at the boxscore and...
-40% shooting
-More turnovers than assists
-Knightmare with a -15 and 3 of 10 from the field
-Bledsoe with a -16 and 5 of 13 from the field
-Booker with 4 of 13
-PJ with 3 of 12
-Len seems to have fouled out in 16 minutes.
Jesus christ, our team is pathetic.

I'm not sure what you mean. This team is playing great and definitely not terrible.

Well he just turned 20 and Klay is 6 years older than him so it's way too early to compare him to Klay just yet.
He still needs to get stronger which he will with time as he is still quite lanky but then again he is still only 20 years old.

Re: Game 22: Pacers @ Suns
Ullis with the best +/- for the game at +5. This team plays so much better when he runs the 1. The ball actually moves around and we get good looks at the basket because players know maybe I won't get a shot this possession but I will have my opportunities. Playing Bledsoe and knight at the 1 is awful if you play off the ball because they never get the ball to you in rythem and dribble the ball for the first 14 seconds on the shot clock. Always a one on one game with those 2. When ullis plays the ball movement is unbelievably better

As a Pacer fan I thought your guys played relatively well and then the B2B and lack of experience caught up to you a bit in the 2nd half. You have some exciting young pieces that I am excited to see develop. Best of luck the rest of the way!

I feel the same about Dudley! He and his dad bod seem to always knock down big 3s against us.

If we played Barbosa instead of Knight for 30 minutes we could have won 10 games.
