Huge game. We would be tied record wise and have a 2-0 lead in the season series.

Roberson is the big swing in this matchup. Slowing down Harden really puts a dent in Houston's game, but obviously much easier said than done.

I don't feel good about the next 4. I'm hoping for 2-2.

Same. I feel a loss tonight, and probably against Boston.

Don't feel good about tonight as well.

And it's not going to be as fun as it was to listen to the crowd booing at beverly (just waiting for the cupcake coming into the peake)

Clint Capela - 7
OKC Thunder - 2

Awesome start.

Afraid this one is on the verge of maybe slipping away a little bit.

Down 9. Again, starting to feel like this one might start slipping away going into the half. We've hung tight all game, and it's been mostly been back-and-forth, but we're not playing well and the Rockets are the more talented team. Kinda felt like if we kept playing "not well" Houston would pull away.

Looking pretty sloppy which I kind of figured would happen with this goofy stretch of the schedule their in. Didn't help that the refs are trash.

Jerami coming up aces with the defense down the stretch.
I like this grant at the 5 experiment a lot. Could be a weapon against a team like GSW.

That sucks. Westbrook missed a FT that would've tied the game. We get the offensive rebound and Wesbrook misses a wide-open layup that would've given us a one point lead. We play great defense and force Harden to take a terrible shot that he airballs and Anderson cleans it up with an offensive rebound and lays it in to give Houston a three point lead.

And Oladipo misses a fastbreak layup that would've put us ahead. We've blown some golden opportunities to take the lead in the final 90 seconds.

And now Westbrook has a layup go halfway down and back out that would've given us a one point lead with 17 seconds to go. Eff me.

We missed three layups, all in about the last minute or so, that would've given us a lead. Unbelievable. And then that's the shot we get down one with less than 20 seconds to go? Of course.

We had plenty of chances to win down the stretch and we just couldn't capitalize. That hurts. I hate losing to Harden and the Rockets.

That one hurts. Don't get me wrong, Houston was the better team for much of the game and probably deserves to win, but to watch us miss three layups in the final minute of the game that would've given us a lead...that hurts.

Well, we lost and we have a lot of problems with this team, but I love them. They always give it all. Loving their mentality. Just wish we could be better and have more options :(

Sigh... whatever presti needs to do to get that wing he has my support. Payne (when he recovers), kanter, whoever needs to get it done. Teams just load their two best defenders on Russ and victor and dare everyone else to beat them which they can't on their own. Houston did it with Beverly and Ariza. Boston will use crowder and Bradley. Spurs will use Kawhi and Danny green. Without that third guy to at least distract them, teams will play us like they play Portland.

That said, I liked the defensive intensity down the stretch. James didn't have a good night, but 3ptrs cover a multitude of sins. Game was winnable at the end which I did not expect. On to Boston 8-)

Return to Oklahoma City Thunder
