Bucks All Time Stats Leaders

Post#1 » by AussieBuck » Fri Dec 9, 2016 12:11 pm

As a numbers dork this is something I look at often and we have what looks like maybe 3 or more settled dudes on the roster so we might get to see some records tumble in the not too distant future. Plus we have a future all timer on board and maybe he'll own every record. Sadly while the Bucks have had a bunch of great players they haven't had great players playing long careers on the team. Giannis is going to scoop up some scalps pretty quick, I'll bump and update periodically when we get some movement on the boards.

For years it was nothing but injured Bogut slowly climbing the rebounds and blocks ladder and whatever chuckers on the mostly empty three point list. Totally shocking seeing Giannis in the top 50 there still and I wouldn't have guessed Henson sneaking into the top 50 scorers.

Giannis-Karim rebound numbers 1671-7161 ,change Giannis first number with the third or move Karim first number to third place..coincidence?no :)

Some quick and dirty math: For Giannis to catch Kareem in scoring and do it within 6 total years, he'll have to average somewhere around 44.7 ppg for this year and the next two years

Kind of crazy Kareem has the lead he does in points and rebounds and he only played here 6 years. Kind of goes with what you said about guys not being here long. Hoping Giannis and Jabari can be the exception

Kareem was so much better than any other player to ever play for the Bucks. 30.4 ppg, 15.5 rpg, 4.3 apg, 1.2 spg, 3.4 bpg, 0.548 FG% career Bucks averages. All-Star every year, 3x MVP, and our only championship. There's a reason McGlocklin can't go a single broadcast without mentioning how great Kareem was. A real shame he didn't want to play here. If he had stayed, he would be a legend in Wisconsin akin to Brett Favre and basketball would be a lot more popular in our state.

I'll put in a commercial for my favorite old time Buck - Bobby "the Greyhound" Dandridge. His stats look pretty good with age. He played alongside Kareem & Oscar and that works both ways for his stats. He was a gifted player in his own right who's style of play would fit well with today's game and he tuned his game to fit the team. He was a Popovich kind of player.
