Lopez (30) / Hamilton (12) / Bennett (6)

Foye, Scola, Dinwiddie - DNPs

I'm not a huge fan of promoting RHJ back to starter status just because Lin will be back. The line up Atkinson's been going with the past few games have been Whitehead/Skil/Bogs/Booker/Lopez. Lin may just sub in for Whitehead, we'll see.

I'd rather have at least one of the wings out there be capable of defense. Bojan and Skil shouldn't start together.

Lopez/Booker/RHJ/Bojan/Lin gives us three guys that can shoot and two dirty work players.

If KA wants to keep starting S.Kil....

Lin (28) / Whitehead (20)
Kilpatrick (24) / LeVert (12) / Harris (12)
Bogdaovic (28) / RHJ (14) / CLV (6)
Booker (30) / Bennett (10) / RHJ (8)
Lopez (28) / Hamilton (12) / Bennett (8)

DNP: Scola, Foye, CMC, Dinwiddie

If not, something like:

Lin (28) / Whitehead (20)
Bogdanovic (26) / Kilpatrick (22)
RHJ (14) / CLV (18) / Harris (16)
Booker (30) / Bennett (10) / RHJ (8)
Lopez (28) / Hamilton (12) / Bennett (8)

DNP: Scola, Foye, CMC, Dinwiddie

Gotta figure that either way he sticks with the low minutes and broad rotations.

Don't think LV should play SF, he's too thin now, might increase risk of injury. Bogs/RHJ/JHar got that down

I suspect SKil will get some minutes at the 1

Glad that Foye playing major minutes is no more.

I hope they limit Lin's minute, at least for a while

I wouldn't be surprised if Lin plays just 15 min his first game back and slowly work up to his normal minutes over a week or 2.

I really like the idea of getting RHJ some minutes at the 4. By the end of next season he should be guarding our opponents biggest threat from 1-4. He's got the defensive instincts, length and iq to guard almost anyone, just needs to build his body up in the gym.

I like that 2nd unit better. Let Skill lead the bench mob and he can close the game if he's hot.

At this point I'd be happy with a 2 game Linning streak. :D

Ya, maybe even come off the bench at first.

Probably a tough decision whether to play a little or not at all against his former teams.

I'm not very clear with this. Greg Logan meant Sunday practice canceled for the whole team or Just Lin not joining the team practices? :o

Thank god! I thought something bad happened and Lin canceled practice with the team. It will be really upsetting. Thanks for the quick reply. :D

There's no real competitive reason anymore for Lin to come back this season. Lin will help sell some tickets but I can't see a real purpose for Lin's return whenever that is. Might as well let Levert and Whitehead get a season's worth of reps. I'd like to see those guys develop at this point. Lin's missed too many games. It's quite unfortunate.

We're 6 games out of a playoff spot. Don't give up.

You set the bar way to high dude Lin is here to prove hes a starter.

Lin is super important for this teams development. you cant just roll rookies out and expect them to develop. you need veterans and guys who can play with the rookies sprinkled in. or else your young guys start developing bad habits and start jsut expecting mintues and shots to come easy.

Lin himself still has alot of development left in him, and benefits the nets greatly for him to improve so in a a year or two when we are more comptitive he is a better player.

what good does it do to have lin sit out the year? there are still 60 games left! and nothing has changed anyhow, this was always a develpment/non-playoff year.

Lin had alot to prove coming into this year... show he is a legit starter and still TONS of time to prove that
