He may have had a mini stroke or something. The symptoms seem to fit. The way he was holding his arm and shoulder with his other arm and complaining of weird pain there then saying it was a "head injury." It would make sense on why they'd want to keep it quiet though it's going to come out in the physical if we do include him in a trade somewhere.

I hope that's not true unless its a blockbuster of sorts, but barring sniffing out any other reason, this "head injury" wreaks of a pre-trade shutdown.

Maybe a few games leading up to an imminent trade. 8 games and almost a 3 weeks away isn't the usual pre-trade shutdown.

True, minor heal up to be sure he can pass a physical, then wait it out. But it might depend on how big/ important the trade is.

This is just silly. Players sit out one game before a trade, not one month.

Given how long he's been out, if he's sitting because of a trade I'd suspect it would have had to have been prompted by a personality clash, most likely with coaching. I could see a situation where a problem player pushes a coach to the limit and the coach finally says "okay, we'll get you a trade out of here but you have to keep your mouth shut so you don't restrict our options". Or something like that. The problem is, I've never seen anything from TJ or the club that suggests he's difficult to coach or a problem in the locker room or anything like that. So, I'm where I've been since he first went out. I'm stumped.

You guys are delusional... He's not sitting out for a trade, he has played 13 games so far of his first season getting starters minutes. Can't believe some of you guys think that it is even possible.

+100000

At first I was suspicious.

Now I'm fairly certain it was an issue/injury that TJ just didn't want to disclose because he is a quiet/private person and a bit eccentric.

It'll be good to have our best player back.

His tweets show how much he loves basketball and wants to be the best player he can be. Combine that with his Tim Duncan/young KD demeanor, and we have a keeper.

The mini-stroke explanation that Carey imported from .net seems most plausible to me. Carey - who suggested that btw? Kudos to the smarty.

Good luck, TJ. We love ya!
