Meh, my only beef with him is his insistence on rotating our bench until our entire bench is out on the court at the same time instead of having a more balanced rotation for subs. Our offense is pretty much the same thing as Portland runs, so it's not like it doesn't work, but I can't name a single game where at least one of Bledsoe, Booker, or Knight didn't have a really bad game, and guard play was supposed to be our calling card.

The big difference is that Lillard and McCollum are much better shooters than Bledsoe and Knight.

Guard play is the Suns' calling card by default—because the front-court players either possess no real offensive game or they are too young.

Did I just hear that comparison right? You wish we had Lillard and McCollum. Bledsoe and Knight are trash shooters :noway:

That's the shot distribution I like to see to start the game from our starting 5. Both Bled and Book are involved and active. Both are being aggressive which is nice to see.

Randle isn't a tough cover for Len, all you have to do is sink into the lane, invite him to shoot a jump shot, and contest his shot if he drives. It's not like you need to worry about Randle shooting outside of like 5 feet.

we probably have the worst 3pt shooting guards in the league right...

Booker 32%
Bledsoe 30%
Knight 32%
Ullis 20%

Only Barbosa is good at 40%

Love watching bender camped out in the corner when he might be the best passer on the team.

Barbosa is so much better than Knight, while both are black holes offensively Barbosa can drop off the pass near the rim and takes smarter shots.

Knight is a one man wrecking crew.

I don't remember who posted it but Barbosa has quietly been a much better bench player for us this year than Knight. I'd love to trade Knight and play Barbosa 18mpg and Ulis what's left.

Also, when Barbosa breaks his guy down he feels him out for a dribble or two and if he's got nothing he passes. Unlike Knight.

The Suns are playing pretty well right now (granted against weak competition), but the first possession of the second quarter epitomized what is wrong with the team. Leandro Barbosa, still one of the most blazing guards in the league, got a switch against Thomas Robinson, the Lakers' center, on left side of the floor. Instead of taking advantage of that mismatch (or one of the two mismatches on that side of the court), Phoenix ended up with Brandon Knight shooting and missing a contested pull-up jumper on the right side.

Phoenix needs someone with the court awareness and leadership to recognize these sorts of situations and provide clarity and direction. (Barbosa is a longtime veteran, of course, but he was never a floor leader.)

Frankly, the Suns could use someone such as the Lakers' Huertas ...
