Sportsworld, Here's why Murton didn't Pinch Hit:

OF Matt Murton was the Cubs' emergency catcher. Backup C Henry Blanco was in Florida to testify in the trial of agent Gustavo "Gus" Dominguez and five others accused of conspiring to smuggle Cubans into the United States. Blanco is not charged

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=270404117

It's in the game notes.

Yeah I saw Blanco made it I just didn't hear the part about Murton being catcher. That's fine. It didn't cost us.

Yeah but I don't really want to cheer a player's injury.

Cardinals are 0-3 and the Astros can soon be 0-3.

Great game tonight. The pitching was stellar and we had some timely hitting. Our hits came exactly when we needed them to come. That hit by Izturis was big to give us the early lead. DeRosa's 2 RBI single was also huge. Also, 6, yes SIX, walks for a Cubs team. Anytime that happens is usually a joyous occasion.

Let's get a series W tomorrow!

A series win would be awesome.
2-1 to start the season is a great start in my book.

Too bad it's an 11:30 AM start time.
mattbulls you get to make another game thread.
