I noticed the same. Means we don't have enough talent. We can only do one, we can't do both at the same time.

5 Home losses in a row, 4-8 record, i dont blame them when the product is so uninspiring.

Exactly. They want everything to be perfect and amazing out of the gate. It's tough honestly to read how up and down some people are.

It's two-fold at this point. Been a fair critic of the Magic fanbase over the years, but the Magic have also given little reason for folks to get excited. The few Magic games I've been to have been frustrating for fans. There's a core group of fans, like many of us, who are intently watching and trying to grasp on to any reason for hope. They're dying for a reason to get excited. But 5 straight home losses, flailing offense, no all-star talent, and Ibaka wants to hear it after one 2-way play? I feel bad for fans at this point. We all deserve better.

Exactly. That my point. Yea it was great sequence but just one in was mostly a mundane, lethargic, uninspiring performance in a string of many lethargic performances. I've been to several games this year and the fans want to get excited but there is no consistency to the effort. If they would play with consistent effort they would get support but no one buys it after just one nice play because they've seen the BS too many times. Doesn't help that this team is awful shooting the ball. Its really a cringefest.

That 10-0 run in the 4th by the Nuggets, is what did us in. This was a very winnable game. :nonono:

The macro view shows that we are 10-14 despite the second easiest schedule in the league and almost no injuries to our players so far. We are 26th in SRS and 25th in Net rating.

He is by far most usless defender at PF position. He can't survive posting up of some SFs let alone PFs. Because of him guards need to overhelp and that leads to easy open 3 point looks. This is nothing new , it started from game 1 and now, already 1/4 of total season gone nothing changed. His offense , lack of production and low percentages simply can't cover up his defense. Matter of fact his age and low efficiency on it's own can't justify his min by not even looking at defense.

So it all comes down to the fact that Vogel is (over)playing him because of his salary only. And that's catastrophic for team chemsitry because other players are not blind.

I re watched Vučević fall 50000 times by now. His fall had no power or impact and he didn't land awkwardly. His "injury" screams " i'm waiting December 15 for trade". Especially if you know his qoutes after Vogel benched him.

It's simple. This team cashed in their youth to be playoff team, and they ruined future, have no present and made past tanking pointless. Now i expect Vučević and Mario to be traded for somebody like Monta Elise , Rudy Gay or Galinari, all washed up ,pushing 30s or looking to cash in with some team dumb enough to give them Jeff Green type deal -just multi year.

Lol...when he fell and came out the game I was like you could have just asked to come out Vuc..

Yep. Players talk. Become the city with horrible fans and see how many FA's are willing to go play there. People act like they can't move this team elsewhere.

At this point, I think it's just looking at the facts - no vital injuries, one of the easiest schedules in the league - and seeing a team that is 5 games below .500.

There are certainly some positives to look at - Serge Ibaka's play, for instance - but there are a lot of glaring problems that are getting more and more pronounced with every passing week. Every one of our young players has regressed (some now coming off the bench), and some that we traded (Harris/Oladipo/Harkless) are playing their best ball ever.

With that said, despite all our struggles, this team is still a not-terrible 10-15. That's actually quite solid for a team full of young role players - 9 of which hadn't played together before a few months ago. Plus, we're not really locked into this team - if Hennigan wants to make some moves, he's got the contracts to do it.

I've stayed positive - within reason - about Hennigan the whole time he's been here, and I think it's been warranted. He made some strong moves early, brought in some good young talent, and had this team moving in the right direction. But if the bold moves he's made over the past 10-12 months backfire (including wasting our #5 pick - if Hezonja busts), then it's time to get someone new in there.

Our next game is on Tuesday. Lucky for us we're undefeated with Jodie Meeks on Tuesdays.

I don't understand how the management doesn't see this. You'd think they would learn after last season but they're doing the same chit again. It's actually worse this year.

How the phuck can they be so stupid?

See what? I mean last week you were singing a different tune and this whole place was happy and buying in. 2 losses and now you are acting like a kid who thinks he is some omnipresent GM.

You want management to be as up and down as a fan? LOL. That's naive.

Everyone sees it. Tons of teams are in the same situation. We have a real front court now and just have to figure out our wings and point. You want to ditch everyone and go young? Awesome. That's 5-8 more years of sucking. Don't believe me? Go read the Wolves or 76ers forum.

Find a post of mine which supports your argument.
I praised the team for the improvements they've shown lately but I certainly didn't say we have a chance to make the playoffs or anything like that at any point.

Even after some wins I said I still don't like the direction of the team. Nothing has changed in my mind so I'm certainly not being up and down. If anything, it's the opposite.

I still don't think Mario was a bad pick. I mean 6'8, athletic, sharp shooter. How could he not pan out in the NBA? Rob is the GM and he is making a lot of money to make decisions, I fully understand that. I think Mario is just not cut out for the NBA between the ears, maybe not something Rob could've necessarily seen coming. Only guy I kind of wanted was Turner over him, but the fact that he was projected outside of the top 10 kind of scared me. Or maybe Mario is worthy of a top 5 pick and is just on a team not qualified to develop any talent.

you just found perfect solution for yourslef
just put everyone but Cedric and few others on ignore then you will get your private happy place to draw unicorns hearts stars and such
You say you can handle it but you complain each time you see a negative post.
Also why you choose me as NEMs biggest buddy?I got like 0.1 post per day last few weeks and most of them not on this board as I gave this team benefit of the doubt eactly as as it was asked from positive posters like yourslef.I and one a lot of his post but I remain silent as I dont want to add fuel to the fire thats it.
Just stop provoking...If you are happy about this team gz and kudos to you.
Just put me on that dam ignore list and lets get over with this bs.

Funny how 85% of this board loved our draft on draft day ( dipo s draft, Mario pick) then few years later complain that Rob can't draft.

I love this team
Suggs, AB, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, TDS , Jett
Franz, TDS, Panda
P5, JI, Panda, Moe

We trusted in RH because we were sold on his OKC/Spurs pedigree and his devotion to analytics and a new way of approaching player drafting and development. I think a lot of people- including myself- believed in this and supported RH but in retrospect, it was fools gold (in the words of the great Otis Smith). And our frustrating level is now at an extreme high. We feel cheated by what we were told 5 years ago.

But this is why we hired RH in the first place- no more Fran, Jerryl Sasser, Steven Hunter, Ryan Humphries, Johnny Davis picks.... we were going to use analytics and a new approach to assessing and drafting just like OKC and San Antonio. Instead, our 2012, 2013, 2016 first round picks are no longer with us and now there is talk that our top 5 lottery pick from 2015 might be shipped out or sent to the D-league. When is Hennigan going to be held accountable to this mess?
Orlando Magic are BACK!!!
