Danny's .02:
1. Packers improving pass defense vs Seahawks improving passing
The packers got scorched early in the season but have been getting better at defending the air. The seahawks obviously fired in all phases last week, but we know they can look limp if the pressure is on and the corners can play bump and run long enough to see some sacks. Daryl B does not like to do many screen passes or short passes to adjust to pressure so...
2. Ground attack
If the Packers get a pass rush going like the Bucs did, we know the Seahawks will either find success in the running game or stubbornly watch longer routes fail under the pressure. Rawls and Pope will need to look like they did last game and Pope hopefully is feeling more agile on that ankle this week.
3. Bennett watch 2016
I feel like he came back a little early, but then again he made it through the last game. Hopefully this week he shows up a little stronger as Rogers is a great guy to beat the hell out of.
4. Duke Duke Duke, Duke of Earl, or Terrell
Much has been made of losing Earl Thomas, Terrell has quietly done a nice job minus coming in cold after the injury and getting torched for a long td last week. Clearly with a week to prep, Rogers is likely to test the FS coverage this game quite a bit. Pass rush would be extremely helpful to the next man up.
5. Xman of the game prediction:
Just like to call out that I hit jackpot on that prediction last week.Lockett... he had a few whiffs last week, which is unlike him. I don't know if he has the jets and quick cuts he normally has with this nagging knee injury, but I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a few big play over the shoulder basket catches this week.
Frank Clark- Aaron Rogers has taken so many jabs at Wilson and the 'Hawks over the years that I would just like to hope that the x-man is a 2 sack and multiple hit game from the continually emerging Frank "mean" Clark. A strip sack from Avril would be nice, but you know Clark likes to give it a little something extra when he gets at a QB.
