I can't believe at one point I was practically praying to God we drafted DRussell and dreaded a KP pick.

Looking forward to their matchup with Devin Booker of the Suns.

When KP was off, Melo carried him. Tonight, KP repaid the favor. And just like those nights when KP was off but made some big shots in the 4th, Melo had that big shot over Deng and the 2 FTs to help build that lead. Feels great to have two legit #1 options.

DRose and Jennings combined stat line:

44 Pts 6 rebs 6 asts
16-27 FG
3-5 3PT
7-8 FT

What a difference having actual players at the PG slot makes.

Now let's go get this W in PHX

I didnt have a good feeling going into this one. Felt like the Knicks were due for a letdown game, but nope.

KP, Rose, and Jennings all brought their A game tonight and pulled out another W.

With Giants and Knicks winning tonight:

KP is going to carry this team to a championship one day. It's crazy how versatile he is at 7' 3. He's a monster in the paint.

Rose exposed Russell for what he really is - an inexperienced and error-prone kid with no right to be cocky. I was thoroughly unimpressed by EVERYTHING he did tonight. He was horrendous. And I was actually hoping to see how well their young core would fare against guys like Rose and Melo.

My favorite part about KP was watching him communicate on defense. He's starting to captain that part of the game.

Rose was straight deadly from mid range.

Jennings out swaggyped swaggy p.

Melo wasn't as bad as people like to pretend.

Thanks to Lee for those timely 3s.

This game felt like the Knicks were never really in danger. Lakers had to hit some insane shots just to stay in the game. All in all, good win.

It actually helped us out this time.

Russell was horrific out there. Looked like he was throwing the game.

FYI this was his first game back after being out for 2+ weeks. He's a lot better than he showed tonight.

Actually wanted no part of Russell once I heard his pre draft interviews. Acted like he already made it. I'm glad that he seems to have learned from that mistake. Tonight just was a bad shooting night.

I'm really excited about Ingram. Think that kid could be special on defense.

I was about to go into conniptions because I was sure it was going to be Frank the tank.
