he's not an elite/one in a generation athlete but stop kidding ourselves, he is good, has a tremendous frame for his age, balanced, amazing coordination, on ball he is fast, I think he is clearly above average esp for his age.
not much room for improvement in terms of strength but I think clearly he can make strides elsewhere and he is still growing onto his body, it's likely that he ends up at about 6'10-6'11 when he's 19.
He's clearly more advanced in terms of poised than Rubio, who was a phenomenal creator and a more imposing athlete before the knee injury, but his impact was mostly on the defensive end, at least for Barça, Doncic is more complete as an offensive player, without been as creative as Ricky, he is still a tremendous passer, that can actually score.

Dončić is 6'7'' and I don't think that will change. I don't get it why do people insist so much that he will end as "6'9", "6'10'' or even "6'11''. He is a guard, maybe even a point guard, posses great size for that position and that's all.

He's the real deal. Never seen a player at his age playing such a polished all-around game against such competition and with such consistency.

In my opinion Doncic will be top 5 pick on the 2018 NBA draft.

Doncic is a legit 6'8'' now. I am 6'4'' and he is for sure 10cm taller than me (talked to him 2 weeks ago for a bit after a game). Maybe he is even a bit taller, he seemed taller than Nocioni while standing next to him. Jeff Taylor is listed at 6'7'' and Luka is clearly at least an inch taller than him. On the other hand I dont think he will grow much more, but I could be wrong.

He does seem to be bigger than 6'7'. Also it's pretty neat that you managed to talk to him? What was the occasion? Also how did he seem? From the few interviews he gave he seems to be a pretty humble guy and a good kid.

I know his father, used to play with him. I was on business in Madrid and caught a game, sitting next to his mom. He is a really good guy, good head on his shoulders, smart and very polite. I just read an interview with one of his youth coaches toady and he says he was always the team leader on and off the court even when he was 9 or 10 and was playing with 12- year olds. Even back then he was a good kid and was tying the shoes to boys who couldnt do it themselves))) Seems like he didnt change much, his teammates and coaches love him.

Seems like Dino Radoncic from Real Madrid B is his good friend, they have many pictures together on social media. Radoncic is a 6'7'' and on every photo he seems even a bit of taller than Doncic. Although, Radoncic could be even 6'8'', but in every case it's clear that Doncic is shorter than him.

Doncic is a best young player in Europe, something special, but people try to make him bigger than he is, I don't get it. He is a 6'7'' PG/SG and that still is a huge size for those positions, he's taller than Jordan.

Nocioni, listed as 6'7'' is clearly smaller than Doncic. In every sense, which is amazing for a 17 old kid. So no, we are trying to make him bigger, we believe he is 6'8''

Some people belive Bigfoot is real too. Good luck with "Luka will end as 6'10'' or even 6'11'' in the end".

By the way

I'm pretty sure there is a way to check is your claim true by mods, if it is let them ban me, but if it isn't, let them ban you for false accusation. Agree?

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that there are two different posters who post almost exclusively about international players, including responding to anyone who dares suggest that Doncic is 6'8" or will ever be 6'10".

Oh come on just stop with this height nonsense, deja vu much?

He is officially listed at 6'7, maybe he'll grow to 6'10, who knows. 17-year-olds can still have growth spurts. Let Doncic be Doncic for now. We'll see how his draft measurables are when it's time.

As I said it, I'm sure there is a way to check this out and let the liar(s) be banned. I'm pretty sure user "Mirotic12" doesn't post even from same state as me.

What do you guys think? Can he become Num.1 pick in 2018, If he keep improves and stays healthy?

if Ayton, Bamba, or Porter live up to their potential its going to be hard for somebody to take them off the perch.

It's quite possible it's going to come down to which teams are going to have the top picks. We can all see the Celtics picking him at #1 and not just for ... Boston reasons. ;) Teams are getting smarter and many already started figuring out that it's not all about physical and/or individual talents.

However, smarter teams usually aren't picking at the top, most of the teams with top picks are usually there for a reason, so I can easily see many of them passing up on Doncic solely because he lacks elite athleticism.

Doncic is truly special, though. He's not like Hezonja, for example, who was picked so high mostly because of potential. With Doncic it's not about potential anymore, he's already a real player and even stats support that. This season his per36 stats (ACB & Euroleague) are already 15PPG (TS% of 67!!! his last year's TS% was also very high, at 64 I think), 6.6 RPG, 6.5 APG, 1.6 STL, 0.7 BLK, all while playing with established vets on one of the biggest teams in Europe. And then, when you actually watch him play, you see his maturity and poise ...

The thing is, even if he doesn't improve at all, he can end up being a decent NBA player, and that's quite scary.

I really don't like stereotypical comparisons, but by the time of the 2018 draft I think he's going to be seen as a shorter Larry Bird and that his lack of elite athleticism is going to be put to the side. His actual game is going to be undeniable ...

Real played against solid DARÜŠAFAKA Turkey team, and Doncic struggled alot with his shot but somehow still had 8 points 6 ass and 6 rebounds in 24 minutes of play.
