I hope he is healthy, one of my favorite players in the league, second to none when it comes to back to the basket skills and footwork.

God, I hope so!
Ready to ease him back into the lineup and see how he looks in this system.

It makes no sense, he passed physical at Brooklyn but he can't pass here ? NBA uses double standards or is there something else ?

Re: Motiejunas' options
I wish they would tell us what did they exactly find in his health, that is alarming. Is it a structural problem, or some kind of musculosceletal imbalance that makes him more susceptible to injuries?

Its not NBA standards, its team standards.
I don't mean to play the "my dad can beat up your dad" card, but I think our team doctors are more advanced. Our GM totally revamped our medical staff (including firing one of the best NBA Trainers, who has also literally saved Mirza Teleltovics life), and I'm not going to pretend I understand what they do differently, but I think they do alot more research.
May I remind you that this is the same team that traded Thad Young to draft an injury prone player. We have a staff that's comfortable taking risks on injuries because they feel they can manage the injuries and prevent them from reoccurring.
I remember reading that the Rockets thought DMo's back was fine for now but they think it'll act up again down the line. If that's the case, then I think the Nets doctors passed him because they have a plan in place to manage his minutes. If you look at Brook Lopez, Jeremy Lin, and Caris LeVert, the nets are being very cautious with them so they don't push them too hard. Brook doesn't play B2B's, they gave Lin all the time in the world to recover from a hamstring issus, and waited a long time to pull the trigger on LeVert as well.
So to sum it up, I think the reason Houston failed him and Brooklyn passed him is because Brooklyn feels they can avoid the future back issues, while Houston thinks they're inevitable.

Or because the Nets can afford to risk it more than the Rockets can

Re: Motiejunas' options
Seems like poor form on both parts....Dmo got his market value, rockets honored that only as much as the league requires them too, Dmo then got bent out of shape. it just all seems ugly.

Dmo says it's not medical reasons. Nets might have filed a complaint as Rockets are in talks with the league.

Re: Motiejunas' options
The sad thing is, if when "this" is all over, he still has to get into game ready shape. And we're talking about a guy with back issues. This has been a soap opera from the point my Pistons said "hold on just a sec, we need to check some things out"

So why Huston don't let him go if they are so keen to find something wrong. I feel they have a personal vendetta against him because of all the drama.

Wouldn't they just avoid all the drama and let him go to the Nets in the first place then? Lol

The funny thing is DMO said they even didn't examined him, all they did was paper work (Huston didn't find anything wrong afterwards too). DMO even considered to sue Pistons for false report.

Re: Motiejunas' options
My theory based on absolutely nothing:
They agreed to terms and said Dmo has to be in decent shape and he ended up being terribly out of shape so he might've been unable to contribute soon.

Man I get you're a d-mo fan (im gonna go out on a limb and guess you're even Lithuanian) but where there's smoke there's fire man...I LOVE motiejunas but with people afraid to even make an offer and him now failing 2 physicals for 2 different teams it looks like he's damaged goods
