Any chance we could keep Parker trade ideas contained to this thread? I'm serious, legit discussion only.

This is a little unnecessary, no?

A trade centered around Jabari/Jokic could be interesting, I would have to pull the trigger on something like Harris/Jokic for Jabari. But why not just keep trade discussion in the trade ideas thread? Smells like trouble making this thread
note: I like Jokic more than most

I'd seriously consider trading Jabari for Embiid but I would be scared as hell to do that too. Philly would never do that anymore though.

Jabari Parker and Miles Plumlee for Jae Crowder, Tyler Zeller Brooklyn's 2017 first round pick.
Do it for Chuck

Take out Zeller and insert Amir and Avery Bradley and I'd do it.

Boston wouldn't, that would be an absolutely insane haul.
Jakes trade would make me livid, that's a really weak return. You're basically using Jabari as a salary dump and trading him to take a massive gamble on a lottery pick. Tyler Zeller is hardly an NBA player also
The big problem with these Boston offers is that Crowder/Bradley are going to be leaving their primes as Giannis enters his, and who knows how long we would keep them. I would look for something like Crowder/Brown/Brooklyn 1st

You guys are on crack. Jabari's going to be an absolute stud in this league. Trading him now, for what we perceive to be weaknesses now, is incredibly shortsighted. This team is going nowhere for at least the next two years. Let it play out.

I don't think it hurts to talk about trading Jabari if the trade would actually improve the team in the long run, he isn't untouchable. Hilariously bad trades like Jakes are shortsighted

It's not a shock that he has an agenda against Jabari. The guy bought a Wiggins Bucks jersey before the draft. Talk about shortsighted.

The front office and ownership isn't going to even consider trading Parker. They are going to offer him a big extension at the max or near the max and he's going to eventually accept it.
Whether the team going forward can build a winning roster around Giannis and Jabari will determine the Bucks fate over the next five years or so, when Giannis is nearing the end of his extension and thus will decide if he wants to remain with the team.
None of the pretend trades which will be posted in this thread will have any chance of happening given the Bucks are going to extend Parker and keep him.

Jabari for Rodney Hood/Exum
Jabari for Hood/Lyles
Jabari/Plums for Hood/Diaw
Jabari/Plums for Hood/Burks
Jabari/Henson for Hood/Diaw
Maybe throw Withey in somewhere, I have no idea if Utah still love Jabari and what they'd offer. I'd still keep Jabari a bit longer and see if the defense comes but otherwise I want a young long wing in the Middleton mold plus some more and Hood fits the bill best.

so, with Jabari, you will most likely sign him for 5 years this summer.
Name a high value player you are confident he actually wants to come and stay in MKE for 5 years and then we can start talking.

Yep you are absolutely right. I don't think anyone here would even argue against this because we all know it to be true, we will sink or swim with Jabari/Giannis for a long time. It's still fun to throw around hypotheticals with a huge trade chip like Jabari though

How is it hilariously bad?
-Gets rid of maybe the worst contract in the league in Miles Plumlee
-Gets a top 5 pick in a loaded draft
-Jae Crowder, one of the best contracts in the league and provides the defensive stopper this team needs. Much better fit with Giannis and Middleton than Jabari as well

Jokic for Jabari.
