Ughghgh... resting again... This is such bull... I am getting close to being done with Brett Brown, and his mishandling of Embiids development... He just rested for 3-4 days, now he's going to rest again? How they hell is he supposed to develop consistency if he's going to sit out every other game... Not even back to backs...

this is ridiculous but the most frustrating part is not knowing who we should point our finger at

In addition, aren't supposed to find out about an easing of minute restrictions or sitting out back to backs in December? I remember that's a report coming out about that... It doesn't bode well for Embiid if they're sitting him out when we don't even have back to backs though...

Zumoff said during the telecast that he wasn't confirmed to play for friday, that might be where it's coming from. If so that's a little different.

It's not Brett Brown's decision when he plays.

Then the medical staff is being mind-numbingly ambiguous...They're sending out different messages... how can you be close to get minute restrictions reduced even more, and possibly not having to sit out back to backs, and then sit him out on regular games, just a few weeks before this...

They said that they were going to re-evaluate his minute restrictions at Christmas time. They didn't say anything about back to backs that I recall.

A good medical update prompted them to increase his minutes prematurely.

There is no reason to rest him on Friday imo because he has a day off tomorrow, and he just missed the last game. Regardless, the doctors make the calls, and that is all that there is to it. You can't argue with the results.

We have to rest him on Friday. The LAL's are worse than I expected and we can't risk beating them

I thought it was a really good sign that they allowed hikmto play after he tweaked his ankle pre-game. Shows their confidence on his health.

After Raps game, Biid's below 58FG% at 0-3 ft. But still an elite shooter for a big.

I'm kind of torn. I want that pick. Don't want to give them another off season to get better. The way they're playing now we may not get it. I'm sure they will win more games this year but how many more? 10? 15 at the most. To me that's too close to top 3 territory.

They are in the middle of a horrible slide right now, and we should want that to continue for as long as possible because they will snap out of it at some point and probably go 5-5 in a 10 game stretch.

The Lakers are much improved over last year overall.

The only reason they played so well early on is, Swaggy and Lou were playing out of their minds. Now they're playing to their career avgs. And you see what's happening.

They were, and still are a bad team. Might even be worse than us, and that worrisome to me in getting that pick
