We need a bounce back game from Kemba, with others stepping up their play in support.

Wow, now that is some paint.

Haven't watched Washington all year but the sense I get is their bench is a big part of the reason for their record.

Does Cliff put MKG on Beal or Otto Porter? Porter has turned into a pretty impressive player, I wasn't sure he'd ever justify the pick but he seems to have put it together.

How does Kemba tend to fair against Wall? Can't recall whether or not he struggles with that matchup.

Yes bench is killinq us in each qame. Ernie spent millions to take leftoveres from Orlando Smith and Nicholson which was idiotic move they both suck and Smith became quickly one of my most hated wiz player with Javale and Eric Maynor Yes that is their level! Add to that rookies Oubre and Sato from Barcelona and another bust Trey Burke and our biggest signing this offseason Ian Mahnini who played 1 qame... Wall and Oubre are twos I enjoy to watch I don't count on win hope there won't be blow out.

He's been solid in December. He was complete trash to start the season before that tho.

Thoughts on these two tweets?

Would you like to see Hawes play over Roy as primary backup center?

I'm still on the fence with this one, but leaning Hawes. The jokester in me says Hawes, because he's at least entertaining. But in all seriousness, I'm not sure Hibbert has done enough since returning from injury to say he deserves minutes over Hawes. I thought Hawes looked pretty good at backup center when Hibbert was out. Hawes only really looked lost when he was miscast as a PF playing next to Hibbert.

Would you like to see more MKG at PF at the expense of a few of Frank's minutes?

Yes, depending on the situation. I think Clifford should at least explore some units that have 3 of the following 4 - Marco, Lamb, Batum, MKG - and playing MKG (or sometimes Batum) as a small 4 is the way to do it. We have 3 fantastic rebounding wings, so I'd like to think we could still cover the defensive glass with this lineup. That being said, I don't really want to see MKG get beat up trying to guard some bigger stronger PFs. We saw MKG get tossed around like a rag doll earlier in the year vs Booker vs the Nets. We've seen guys like Taj Gibson do the same vs MKG as well.

Clifford does not like to tinker with rotations game by game. His philosophy is rooted in consistency, playing groups, guys knowing when they are getting minutes - which is part of the reason players love playing for Clifford. I doubt we'll ever see too much of Clifford changing rotations on the fly to match a game script. That being said, it would be nice of he was a little more flexible.

Would you like to see less staggered minutes of Kemba-Batum?

I think it's important for us to try to keep one of Kemba and Batum on the floor as much as possible in order to try to keep the offense moving. That being said, if Batum is not willing to step up into more of a primary scoring role when Kemba is out, then perhaps those minutes are a bit wasted. What I'd like to see more than anything is the starters coming back in the 4th a little earlier than what Clifford has been doing. Lately its been Kemba coming back around 8min left, Batum, Marvin and Cody all closer to 5min left. If we could get Batum, Marvin and Cody on the floor a little earlier in the 4th, that would be my plan. To do that, I'd bring Lamb on a little earlier, with about 2 minutes left in 3rd, in favor of Batum. I'd simply give Cody and Marvin 2-3 more minutes - all dependent on fouls.

its very simple to do , bring marv out first and bring belinelli/lamb in , then come back with marv early to replace mkg. This would have won the hornets multiple games where frank has been chasing small ball fours.

I think point guards like Wall - big and fast - have traditionally given Kemba buggery.

Hoping for big games from Sessions and one of either Sauce or Lamb. That's where we'll win it IMO.

Get ready to see Markieff Morris put Frank in the blender for stretches of the game.

Happy birthday, Nic. Hopefully Wiz won't switch Morris on him, otherwise we will have a no show most likely.

Woot, no Morris. Now hopefully Oubre won't be a glenn Robinson remake from last game.

No damage for now, but Nic is sleeping at def rebound, not trying to box his guy( Obre even though he had to switch on Beal on previous attack). Hope he will be ask to wake up (cf last game).

Nic is killing it. That's what I want to see from him every single game.

Good stat so far. Wizards exposing one of their weakness, turnovers. They are more physical, but at least Hornets defense is solid except one bad transition defence.
Batum agressive and focus on the defensive end (had a nice switch on Gortat without success though, but he reads well their offense). Which is fine as Kemba is well defended.

Need to cut the turnovers as low as possible, they are probably among the best teams - if not the best - in transition the Hornets have faced this year.

About to be another one of those 2-15 nights for Frank.
