I wonder if you guys could get Nerlens Noel with a 1st rounder. Or another defensive center and send Turner to PF. Turner can probably play small ball 5, but Idk about full time. He struggles guarding the pick and roll consistently and Thaddeus Young (is that your starting PF?) isn't offering much help. It drives me nuts to see a team that used to test my blood pressure with their defense suddenly give up that identity.

I really like that scenario. I think Turner would struggle to guard some 4s... for instance last night if (hypothetically) Noell was on Whiteside I'm not sure who Turner could guard. I think Larry thought by adding offense the defense would automatically stay... that obviously has not been the case. That being said this is game 26 of the season and PG missed a solid chunk in there. Time to figure it out. But time is ticking... on the season and on PG being sold on staying in Indy if he doesn't think he can contend.
