Whether issues are his fault or not he'll get the blame by sheer virtue of just being on the roster. No need to rage against the machine it's just the way it is for folks around here.
Saying he's our scapegoat implies that people are blaming him for the losses. I dont think thats what is going on here. People know we simply arent a very talented team and have low expectations for wins and losses regardless.
I just think people recognize that hes not that good and is a terrible fit with our core.
He got plenty blame for our many losses so I don't think your explanation stands. He also takes the blame that he somehow block the development of Noel last season and the fresh one is he block the development of Embiid. Also someone on the last page just blame him that he didn't make our scrubs around him better like Embiid did. I can't remember he got any props from you guys all blame and trash. Its unbelievable he's still here even though he's one of the worst player in this league. Our FO is just crazy not to release him after they mistakenly draft him .He would go undrafted if not taken by us and would play in CBA right now.
I havent seen it, but maybe I'm just not as sensitive to Jah related issues
The attempt to play him with Nerlens and Joel forces those guys out of position. Whether he's actually holding back their development is one thing, but he clealry holds back their effictiveness.
As for someone blaming him for not making our scrubs better, seems like you are clearly taking that comment out of context. It was used as a response to someone else calling his teammates trash as an excuse, and someone responded with the fact that Joel seems to do fine with those same exact scrubs.
Joel is a transcendent talent while Jah is just a guy. I think Jah is just fine as a backup center... but I dont like him playing with Joel one bit since it forces a superior player to sacrifice his game. I also think Nerlens is a clearly bettet player as well... and think Jah could still bring back something in a trade... so yeah, I'd like him to be dealt
