Turner President David Levy issues statement on passing of Craig Sager

Turner President David Levy issued the following statement regarding the passing of long-time Turner Sports broadcaster Craig Sager:

“Craig Sager was a beloved member of the Turner family for more than three decades and he has been a true inspiration to all of us. There will never be another Craig Sager. His incredible talent, tireless work ethic and commitment to his craft took him all over the world covering sports.

“While he will be remembered fondly for his colorful attire and the TNT sideline interviews he conducted with NBA coaches and players, it’s the determination, grace and will to live he displayed during his battle with cancer that will be his lasting impact. Our thoughts and prayers are with Craig’s wife, Stacy, and the entire Sager family during this difficult time. We will forever be Sager Strong.”

Sad news, he is an example of being positive, humble, respectful, funny and a real fighter. We will miss him so much

Pure fun and individuality. Embodied every thing that makes basketball enjoyable. The sport lost a true icon.

This is a tough one to swallow. Just watching the videos and tributes on ESPN, I can't help but to tear up.
The world truly lost a legend. His infectious personality, professionalism, great work, attitude and colorful suits will surely be missed!!

Much love to his family, friends and those that personally knew him.
