I don't mind starting Leuer over Mook. I still don't trust Mook's decision making and his willingness to dominate the ball

I thought this was gonna be about a blowup (worst idea)... I'm ok with with JL starting and Morris being the go-to guy off the bench.
We should also take a hard look at the team's efficiency & defense when Ish is with the starters until RJ is 100%

Yeah gotta shake something up. Doesn't have to be a trade. Move one of Tobias or Morris to the bench. Move Luer in. Say **** it and see what happens if we take the chains off Stanley. Idk Bench RJ. Something.

I'm skeptical of RJ even if he is fully healthy. He hardly shows up unless it's explicitly the 4th like he's coasting or something.

Plus knee tendinitis issues don't bode well (that and he's not getting any younger) and it may be chronic which would limit his years with us too.

Leuer is already playing starter minutes...making him a starter doesnt really change much. Hate to say it but RJ is the problem right now. He slows the game down and hasn't been making good decisions with the ball.

there's no doubt that leuer has played great but he plays 27 minutes a game, both morris and harris are valuable players as well, i don't see how you can give him many more minutes. among bench players he plays the fourth most minutes a game in the league.

there's no doubt their play has been underwhelming the last three games but you need patience!

Don't think it's so much about minutes as it is about the right fit... JL makes his teammates better. his size is needed vs. starting 4s. Morris can be more of a high usage scorer off the bench.

I disagree that it's time to hit the panic button. However, I do think Marcus is the odd man out in our core.

For fun, Reggie, Marcus, and our first for Wall.

Was just discussing. Would pistons have any interest in a Cousins for Drummond swap (as the base of the deal. Stuff can be added on either side)?

I'd pull the trigger on that in a heart beat but I don't think there's any way we get Wall from the Wizards.

His contract expires next season, that's my primary issue with this. We could deal Drummond and then Cousins could walk for nothing so soon.

Don't be deluded, Wall or Cousins aren't in the market.

Players in the market are Gallinari, Chandler, Bledsoe, Knight, Lopez, Gay, Rubio, Dragic, Deng, Mirotic, Faried, Bogut, Vucevic, Hezonja, Monroe, Gibson, McLemore, Cauley-Stein, Casspi or L.Williams.

One question you need to answer is "Would this team be better with a center like Bogut?" Just a center that defend, hold the opposite center in the rebound and help to move the ball.

I think Leuer should replace Harris in the SL, not Mook, we need his defense from the jump.

We need somebody else running the point too, Jackson isn't the guy, maybe give KCP a chance because Ish has too many flaws as well.

Kcp has really surprised me with his passing ability this year...I would say that has been his biggest improvement even over outside shooting

I would have to say this is a deal I would do with one eye closed...kind of like a child watching scary movie through his/her fingers

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that "shaking it up" is the exact opposite of what we need. These guys need more time playing together to find their roles and develop as a group.

If anything maybe be a little quicker to go to the bench if we aren't getting the effort out of certain guys. If Reggie or anybody else is playing with their head up their arse, then yank em, have a coaching moment and then get them back in the game. We need to develop these guys as individuals and as a team, not make knee jerk reactions because we are struggling with the process.

I'm not opposed to running more of a 2-guard front with KCP sharing more of the ball-handling responsibilities but I think one of the biggest (and easiest) adjustments to make is to simply make sure we pushing the tempo. Ish's execution in the half-court wasn't *that* much better than Reggies, but we were getting the ball up the floor quicker and getting looks before the defense could set. That's not Reggies natural game, but we need to make that a bigger emphasis. It will take a lot of pressure off our offense.

That's not all on Reggie either. Our guys need to sprint the down the court and Dre (or whomever) need to look for the quick outlet, not just hand it off to Reggie under the basket.

Other than that Reggie has got to stop pounding the rock. You can insert Stanley, Leuer or whoever you want, but if the ball isn't moving it doesn't really matter and we've seen that our starters are capable when the ball does move. That will come (hopefully) with more time together, but we need somebody on the court to be a leader and call Reggie on it. It can't just be SVG - his peers need to be vocal about calling for the ball and harping on ball movement. I don't care if it's Mook, KCP or whomever, but we still don't have any real on the court leadership.

If we could get him to commit, something that was done similarly with Kevin Love's trade where he committed, then I'd be all over this deal.

This roster has no superstar level talent, and I firmly believe Boogie has that potential with his unique skillset.
