It's not even hyperbole to say that was a historic performance. Watching this was unreal.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Bit of a stretch. It's obvious that the starters needed him (even before we had seen grant start), but it's definitely coincidence that he set a new thunder record tonight.

Incredible performance tonight by Russ obviously. I needed that after those last two games.

Great win today! Donovan made some subtle adjustments with the bench that I thought were really cool. Semaj also had a decent game today. Will be great to see Cameron and victor come back soon, but very promising to see the thunder adjust without them. Semaj may not have played great so far this season, but he will be very important going forward depending on how long Vic will be out. We definitely won't have Cameron for a while longer. Gotta give Russ quality relief minutes.

I think the main difference was teammates hitting shots and Russ doing a better job at finding those spots while the Suns gave him too much room. Before last night, he averaged 13.3 potential assists per game over that 4 game stretch. Last night: 28.
"I don't know of any player that, when the shot goes up, he doesn't want it to go in," Donovan said
