Mook is mad

Leads the league in usage rate once again in terms of dribbles and he JUST got back.

It clearly starts and ends with him. Even Mook knows that.

Looks like Reggie has been watching too much Harden and Westbrook while he is now trying to compete with those guys as a ball dominator. Unfortunately, they are in another class.

I think style of play is by far the bigger issue, not being less than 100%

Its been over dribbling, ill-advised contested jumpers early in the shot clock, not moving the ball enough, and looking too much for his own offense despite KCP taking a step forward offensively & the upgrade to our depth. He's playing like someone in a contract year looking to get his own numbers right now unfortunately.

Exactly, its everything about his decision making is not what you expect from your starting PG. He runs the PnR offense, gets his man screened out and separation then just passes the ball away when the lane or jump shot is there for him or vice versa where he's covered or doubled and tries to force a junk shot. He then typically compounds that with poor effort defensively. You watch Ish smith, he doesn't stop playing defense until the ball is in his hands, RJ is done playing defense as soon as the ball goes in the air.

We've become a sh* team because we've taken the ball our of our best offensive players hands in KCP and given those touches to RJ who has been probably our worst and we've compounded that problem with down grading Ish's defensive effort to RJ's kind of effort.

Agree 100%, you can start a scoring PG while simultaneously running an unselfish offense predicated on ball movement and high percentage shots. The Bulls did it with Rose in his MVP season, the Warriors have been doing it with Steph for a while, Kemba with the Hornets, IT with the Celtics, Lillard with the Blazers ect...

Its not Ish vs Reggie, it's Reggie needs to stop hogging the ball. Even if he were the sixth man this kind of style wouldn't fly.

It's not so much hogging the ball IMO

It's the pounding of the rock for the majority of the clock.

Need to get into the drive and kick earlier, get to the PnR earlier, give the ball up earlier

Our PG is stifling our offense because he doesn't pass it early enough!

SVG will get through to him
