With this New CBA 2017, I seriously doubt that we Trade those Brooklyn picks.
I tend to agree with this and I've never really wanted to move them at all

The same guy that came away with Marcus Smart in the top 10 of a draft.
His talent evaluation of the NBA draft is absolutely petrifying.
Can't remember... What were your thoughts on the Bradley pick a few years back?
I don't think I knew him as a draft pick. But back when he was drafted we were drafting for backups and had two all-star guards so I doubt I put it under much scrutiny.
I do remember as a rookie he completely sucked at PG, but as soon as he was put at SG he instantly showed NBA rotational skill as a player.
From more recent drafts, I was a Bender then Brown guy. I was very pro Smart at the time once the obvious players where taken as a super driver was the only type of player that could have untapped potential.
And yet from day one it was obvious that he has near 0 ability in his body to be able to drive to the hoop against NBA competition. Ainge mush of been able to figure that out with the workouts or our scouting is absolutely blind and there is no point to private workouts.
That said, I wasn't advocating 4 first rounders for Winslow by any means. And it's the GM's job to draft the stud. In retrospect it's looking like Julius Randle would ahve been a far better pick. Or Zach Lavine. Rodney Hood. Jordan Clarkson with one of the other picks.
But realistically, Randle was the guy that was flip flopping with him that we should have grabbed.

Hot take: Stevens doesn't have a killer instinct. We could've gone up by more. Starters sat too long IMO.
I get that he wants the bench unit to get more burn, BUT if you increase the lead to 25+ before the half, there's a good chance starters won't even play in the 4th.

Counter to my hot take: Experience in 2nd quarter trying to hold on to a lead is much different from experience in garbage time. That experience might be valuable down the road especially for the youngins. So yeah, you do you, Coach!

That's the thing... It's hard to judge a pick (any pick) without letting the guy develop. I'm sure Spurs fans were up in arms when their team traded George Hill and a couple other assets for Kawhi Leonard. They are likely not as angry these days.

I can't fathom trading 4 first round picks for any player. Not sure what they Celtics' brass were thinking that day.

I think he made only 2 or 3 of those all last season.
I've always felt his offensive game with benefit with a running hook his he has a hard time getting his shot off.
