Raptors get Noel for a young piece and their 1st

To Charlotte: Lou Williams
From Charlotte: Spencer Hawes, 1st

Charlotte gets a bench scorer that they really need

To Philadelphia: Charlotte 1st, Toronto 1st, J. Sullinger(expiring)
From Philadelphia: Nerlens Noel

Philly gets 2 1sts for Noel in a deep draft. Also helps the Lakers lose Lou which will hurt Lakers win loss record.

Philly cuts everyone out and does Noel for Powell and Toronto first

On that note I would 100 percent do a straight swap for Powell or even add a second

I don't see Utah being interested. Not sure if that's pertinent to the discussion or not. I think Philly should be very interested in Rozier and a 1st. Rozier looks like he can become a pretty good player, and Philly needs perimeter depth BAD.

Foshan, how do Sixers fans feel about a deal like this for Okafor instead of Noel

Clarkson for Okafor + Thompson

Can I get Tyus Jones and a pick swap from Minny for Noel? Anyone agreeing the best chance to get Fultz is what our outcome should be?

Why does LAL want to get rid of Clarkson so bad?

Before you laugh at me, I find Clarkson to be not so badly needed here as much as a young big we can begin to develop with the pieces we already have. I also like Hollis Thompson as an extra wing in case of injuries, which we've had at the wing positions this year.

Plus i know Lou holds little value to the Sixers and we like Nance a lot so that leaves Clarkson as the best piece to move for a young big.

Dekker, rights to Llull, 2017 top ten protected pick, and Tyler Ennis for Nerlens and Covington?

I think you are massively overating Noel.

If we want him, why not just pursue in free agency?

Clint could miss significant time and 48 minutes of athletic rollers and rim protectors would be awesome. Could then move Harrell somewhere for a backup point guard. Also RoCo would probably be better on a better team playing lots of four

The Sixers would value Covington more than any piece coming back to them.

I think if he gets traded it will be to a team that is willing to resign him and doesn't have the capspace to do so without his bird rights. Knicks, Blazers, Bucks, Wizards, Pelicans, Suns or Mavericks are my best guesses. I can't guess what the blazers would want from one of those teams besides a lotto protected pick.

For this Sixers fan at least, it has nothing to do with valuation. I don't view Clarkson as a particularly good fit and not a good enough player to overcome the fit concerns. Basically zero interest in acquiring him at the cost the Lakers would rightfully request.

Interesting thread.....seems to be a whole lot of interest for a guy that has absolutely NO value. And this is why Sixers are going to keep him. Value is there but everybody wants it for FREE.

Well they're going to get even less back when he leaves after this year, they aren't matching unless they're delusional about how this can work out

You're really shooting yourself in the foot by re-signing him then. Keeping a guy who clearly doesn't want to be in that situation and paying him $20mil a year?
Don't think that will happen.

I can respect that view. Perhaps a team with a front office on the hot seat may pay an extra premium. I can't wait to see what the Sixers front office gets for Noel and/or Okafor and how that fits into the long term plans the front office has to build around Simmons & Embiid.

The Sixers would value Covington more than any piece coming back to them.

Dekker has been just as good as Covington's best year so far and FAR better this year. He's 4 years younger than Covington. No way they would value Covington more than Dekker, who they would have restricted rights on after this his rookie deal. If you want to say the difference isn't big enough to, in addition to the first, get Noel, that's another thing, and that is fair
