Egos aside...it has to be Ish for Reggie...that would make the biggest difference. We need Reggie long-term but I think he is better served easing himself back with the second unit. Most likely...its starting Leuer and sitting Marcus Morris or Tobias (Mook is most likely since he is a bit of ball stopper himself).

This is what I expect SVG will do. Ish for Reggie & Leur for Morris.

We're not going anywhere with Ish as our starting PG & Reggie isn't the scapegoat for all of our problems but it's gotten to the point that I think Stan is going to go with the guys that give him the best chance to win right now.

Yeah wouldn't mind putting an actual PF next to Dre.

I would strongly consider

Ish for RJ
Leur for Mook or Harris

While Mook has been more consistent and actually plays defense decently, Harris physical mismatch offensively at the 3 maybe too hard to bench. I would start Harris and based on his play bring in mook or SJ off the bench or start mook and bring TH or SJ based on whom is playing better.

I think it should be Stanley for Morris. We don't need another ISO player in the starting lineup. Mook and leur would destroy the other teams second unit.

i contemplated that move except that i don't think SJ has proven enough over a long enough time to get that kind of vote of confidence. As soon as you make that move, you can't reverse it , and that is putting a lot of faith in a player who's been one of our most inconsistent players. His energy however i think will help a lot and when we are talking about efficiency, as of late SJ's inefficient numbers don't look nearly as bad being that everyone else has been also sucking. Defensively it also looks like SJ is probably the best option, though mook hasn't been bad either.

In other words, really either of the 3 will be fine as long as leur is in the lineup but SJ would represent the largest risk for SVG.

I don't know if a lineup change is going to change anything. This team is pretty much imploding out of nowhere they forgot how to play together that goes beyond a lineup change. I really hope I'm wrong.

Why don't you think going back to Ish as starting PG won't fix things? Mainly Energy and defensive effort?

Evidence:

1. Team is playing like hot garbage.

2. Players hold a team meeting and yell at Reggie.

What could it mean? =)

Reggie was gone and the team played great. Was getting better every game. Reggie came back and he ball hogs, gives nothing on defense, doesn't push the ball helping teammates, hasn't been shooting well.

Luckily Reggie's contract is VERY reasonable with the new CBA and crazy contracts. He will find a new home somewhere else.

you know when we first traded for RJ , the very next draft Mudiay was almost available and SVG said something to likes of "We knew Denver was taking mudiay" indicating that Mudiay would have been the pick which at the time i thought was idiotic as RJ was clearly our PGOF based on limited sample size. Seeing mudiay's vision and RJ's lack of any PG IQ, i am starting to think SVG realized that turning RJ into a PG for his system is going to take a lot of work, since we didn't have a choice we signed him knowing that his contract will be a basic bargain in the new CBA

What would guys think about Dragic? He's been playing really well.

Not saying we should trade for him because Riley would fleece us in a trade I'm sure.

Almost sure to be Leuer - it's the easy move. Ish should be the move, but Stan won't have the guts to do that.

Leuer for Morris is what I'm guessing. Although part of me thinks swapping Harris for Leuer would be interesting as Harris would provide some offense for the 2nd unit.
