Expecially bench guys I mean what do we really expect to get for guys like Lamb, Frank or even Zeller? Nothing great that's for sure, all that would do is ruin out chemistry. We played great first few weeks of the year we need to get back to that and we will be fine.

I'd give it until late January, but I think it has come time to explore trading MKG if he has above average value on the trade market. Trading MKG would open up minutes for Lamb and we've seen that Clifford's scheme can withstand defensively for stretches without MKG over the past two seasons. I just think Charlotte should take advantage of this group, specifically Kemba and Batum, being in their primes by giving them another star level player to play with that could push them into legit championship contender. Otherwise they are practically wasting the talent that they have

He's never been that good to begin with. He's Hendo with less athleticism and a extra 4ft on his shooting range.

identical playstyles, he has more range but its long twos. This whole afflalo demanding a trade is the equivalent of when you were a kid and held your breathe when driving by a cemetery. every fanbase should be frightened of landing that guy.

I would be super hesitant trading mkg for rudy, I know rudys game he doesn't like doin dirty work like picking up the other teams best shooter/wing. Rudy and batum do not really mesh well in my mind, idk bout yall.

And banishing Lamb to DNP-CD for the rest of the season. Makes sense.

Im hesitant to trade MKG in general. Ive been disappointed with MKGs play this season, but i cant help but feel like its too early to judge him that harshly considering all the time he missed. If he can stay healthy and have a full season and offseason to put in work, i kind of expect him to make a decent leap next season to being closer to the level we've always expected him to reach. Seems like trading him now would most likely be selling low.

Two questions

1. Who has a higher trade value right now, MKG or Cody? Their contracts are fairly similar so no real need to bring contracts into the equation, unless you feel that one contract vs the other adds or removes value.

Worth noting that Cody is a poison pill, and thus very hard to trade.

It's a risk worthy of the possibility of putting Charlotte over the hump to become a contender. I think a trio of Kemba-Batum-Cousins would make the Hornets the second best team in the East with a possibility to trump Cleveland

I could pretty easily be talked into this.

I want absolutely nothing to do with Cousins at all. He would horrible, terrible and awful here.

I'd take a HUGE pass on him. Wouldn't even trade him for a 2nd round pick.

On Noel: Would he give us much more on court production than Cody has been this season?

I think Noel is a much better individual defender than Cody and with Clifford's team scheme he could be a DPOY candidate. Offensively he can do everything Cody does. It's basically trading for a player with all star potential and upside whereas Cody is just a role player, fringe starter, excellent backup C.

I don't think Noel cares about fighting for minutes. He just don't want to play only 8 minutes in a Lamb-esque role for a losing Sixers team. A solid 20-25 minutes would be fitting for Noel with us. There's not really any team at the moment that he could just go to and play 30 minutes per game right away.

I'm not sure Cody, MKG, and a 1st would get Cousins.

No way he can be as productive for us than Cody this season, i don't see noel diving all over the floor for a possession like Cody "Hustle" Zeller.
Like Cody "I don't care about money, I'd play this game for free" Zeller.

It's not just about talent, it's about mentality, and how your mentality & personality fits the team.
The way the team is built up right now, Cody > Noel.
I mean I could live with him in the Hibbert Role but no way I'd replace Cody by Noel.

it matters how psycho he goes, recent report said that all GM's weren't keen on him and his attitude.

True, it would basically be trading the big bad wolf for a couple choir boys. Still think SAC would find a better deal out there.
