How do you see this game? Match-ups seem to be so unusual: Jokic vs. Jordan? Two totally different players. Forwards? Might be a slight lean towards Denver, but ... ... Guards? Probably the clearest advantage for Denver at SG but with no offense to Mudiay, Paul is a top quality PG. Bench? Their bench isn't great but they've got some good experience and are probably more experience. Let's hope our bench gets hot. It would seem to me that this game will be the biggest test for the New Nuggets. It's going to take true teamwork.

I really think DEN's bench is going to needed in this one, not only because the starters played a lot last night but LAC will have their bench talent testing our depth as well.

Mudiay really struggled against Chris Paul last year, so that's the matchup I'll be watching for. This should be a good test for the rest of the starters too, considering they all logged heavy minutes last night. With Griffin out, this is pretty good timing to have to play the Clippers in LA twice in the same week.

I think I'm missing something... is Malone going to give Nurkic 0 minutes again?

3rd game in 4 nights, not surprised they are not getting much from Jokic (some wack fouls), Mudiay and Harris. Nurkic should get minutes against DeAndre though. Need size out there.

It's like we never jockey for the dominate position, we just match whatever the other team is doing.

Give Clippers credit. First game without Blake, a tired opponent, they came out and kicked their butts. I have no problem with back to backs, but it would be better, if the team on the second game had the home game, rather than the Clippers being the fresh team and also at home.

Re: Game 29: Denver Nuggets (12-16) @ Los Angeles Clippers (20-8) - 10:30 PM ET
Well, we knew our winning streak would come to an end but it seemed like we didn't use Jokic the same way as in the last three games - just one assist in 20 minutes with only 3 fouls? Add to that, except for Nelson, our guards didn't have a good game and it was a loss.
I loved seeing more switching on picks - not every time, but we have too many players that trail too far behind going over picks. The result is seldom good.

Jokic only played 8 min in the first half because he picked up 3 fouls, we were pretty much out of the game by the time the 3rd Q came around. Mudiay and Harris will need to develop some consistency

Sure Jokic picked up 3 fouls in 8 min and he played 12 more min with 0 fouls. The point is; 1 assist. They were not giving him the ball at the top of the key much and when they did, not many were cutting to the basket or running the baseline. That's when he is most effective. Players need to be put in a position to take advantage of their strengths. Let Faried play low and let Jokic play high - or whoever in which position. Posting up Murray would not make sense as a regular play.

I think they got behind and started chucking up shots, at that point the offense fell apart.

They've done that a few times this year. It's a sign of a young team (but mostly we play our veterans, so I don't know what to think).
