Wow. Gutsy win. Obviously the team still has quite a few things to work on, but gotta love the way this team never quit.

Fournier played a good game too.

It's always good to get a win.

When Miami drafts a spot or two higher than us remember this game.

Elfrid and Vucevic may not be what we want but DJ and Biyombo certainly aren't better than them. In theory it makes sense but it hasn't worked out in reality.

Shoutout to Ibaka for ignoring Augustin on that last play and making a shot that had no business going in.

The **** people say on here is amazing. You have some really believing that Mario has played better than Jeff Green this season.

Heat fans are one of my favorites on the forum. They're sort of like Raptor fans without the butthurt

Who cares? Green was always trash while Mario just started the year that way. He would have worked through his slump had he got the chance.

How we found a win being down 108-103 with 38 seconds left is unfathomable to me but our guys deserve credit. They showed alot of fight and effort which is what I want to see. Elf, Vuc, and Evan played great. The rotations overall were frustrating but it feels good to get a win against a rival.

I'd love nothing more than to see AG doing that, but his dribble doesn't get defenders on the back foot yet.

Winslow was never a great ball handler. He has improved bc Spo has put him in these type of situation. If I'm the Heat, this is the perfect game. Played hard, saw improvement from our young guys, and increase my ping pong balls in a deep draft. Our FO is in so much pressure to win that we sacrifice crucial development moments like these for AG. At least EP is getting crunch time minutes. Vogel seems to really like him.

Winslow was at least doing similar moves in college, whereas AG was never given much opportunity as a perimeter playmaker there.

Last year, when AG touched the ball you could see that the offense demanded he pass it straight away, or shoot a corner 3. This year he's allowed to try and create from the perimeter, but his handles only get him in to about 10-15ft from the rim and he opts for a pull up most times. That's if his handle gets him by his defender at all. The opportunities he's getting this season are what he should've been getting as a rookie. But we had 2 coaches insist on trying to turn him into a PF, and they consequently stunted his growth as a SF.

AG needs to be making the most of the opportunities he's already being given before putting the pressure on him to make a play in crunch time. He's making progress, and I'm sure he'll be much more confident by the end of the season. Trust me, I'm a mad AG fan, but even I can acknowledge where he's at right now and how much more pressure we should be putting him under. If we were tanking, give him all the touches in the world. But we're not, so he has to learn on the fly, unfortunately.

Jeff Green vs Hezonja isn't really the issue. It's Jeff Green closing games he has no business closing when he's playing poorly. It didn't backfire that badly tonight, although we don't know how the game would've gone if we kept Elfrid and Vuc and AG in at the end of the game in regulation. AG actually has pretty good clutch numbers and is disruptive on defense throughout the game. The only time I agree with keeping Jeff in at the end is when he's actually having a really good offensive game, which is kinda rare this season even by his standards.
