Pistons hold players only meeting

I think it's more SVG stating that whatever happens in the meeting is a waste of time because you gotta do it on the court.

I don't think he's upset with Mook for calling a meeting - that shows leadership and that's awesome!

It's more that player's only meetings are a waste of time because any clown can talk behind closed doors

Sure is if you come and get their asses handed to them by like 40. That isn't what should've happened after that. A team should be like a family/brothers, especially a small one like Basketball. They should've came out and fought for each other like family and teammates. Their team only meeting didn't do ****, doesn't seem like they have a brotherhood, that sucks.

I still have faith in this team, but coming out and getting spanked after a team meeting is pretty ****.

From the outside looking in it seems RJ pounding the air outta the ball was a big topic...and he responded by passing up shots he'd normally take.

So now we've got Mook and his boys saying "you need to give us touches" & RJ saying "I gave you touches and we lost by 40"

RJ - as the PG - needed to apologize to the team PRIOR to the Bulls game and then play the right way...instead he made it much, much worse IMO

It's now on RJ to rebuild the relationship with the team...

And honestly this stuff is attitude issues that a lot of these 20 somethings have...so busy worrying about where they rank amongst their peers as opposed to winning games!

The more you win the higher you'll rank lol

Well said sir! I'm generally among the 'take it easy, let's be patient' crowd, but, as I suppose is obvious, I'm pretty upset with Reggie. Disloyalty in a teammate is a very ugly thing. The team doesn't need him acting the child.

I agree. I'm not surprised RJ did what he did either. I was thinking all this was possible when RJ came back, was just hoping it wouldn't come true. Hopefully they can put a good game together tonight. I will be very surprised if SVG benches RJ too. That might be difficult to come back from, unless RJ actually buys in.
