Well, at least it was a close game until the fourth quarter.

Booker played a great game and Warren is back.

Tucker, Knight, Bledsoe and Len played decents games, but we need more to win to a playoff team like the Rockets.

Did Watson just say that he loves Bender and then play him for two minutes? I would say that he has hit a new low and deserves to get fired immediately.

I was hoping that the Rockets could find a way to move up in the draft to get Booker...too bad they couldn't do it. Kid has a bright future.

They could've had him, but the Pelicans decided to be good the one year the Rockets had their pick lol

Posts like this are pathetic too. If given a choice, every coach in the league leans on veterans. Bender and Ulis give Earl no reason to play them any meaningful minutes right now. Suns fans have been complaining about our rookies playing time for as long as I can remember, but this season you guys are taking it to a whole new level. This non-stop hate in every thread can really diminish the pleasure of browsing this board sometimes.

Oh, excuse me ,should I rather post how "Bender sucks" in every single thread like you? Last time I checked this is an open board, and people are welcome to express their sentiments on the team as much as they like. If you dislike this board so much, you're always free to leave.

I don't mind Bender and Ulis not playing right now. Both need to bulk up and they're both raw. Plus they'll get plenty of time later in the season when I assume Tucker and Knight get traded and the rotation looks more like:

Bled/Ulis
Booker/Barbosa
Warren/Duds
Chriss/Bender
Chandler/Len (or Len/??? or Noel/???)

Lean on veterans for what exactly....to Lose by 15 instead of 20? we are a **** team, and we are playing guys who have no real future on the team. Its completely (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

The goal right now should be to get minutes for Booker/Warren/Len/Bender/Chriss/Ullis...Of course we will lose games, but we are losing games anyway. When Ullis has played he has looked solid, Bender was the 4th pick in the draft he should be getting some playing time, not 3 minutes here and 1 minute there - consistent minutes so we can actually see what he can do when given consistent playing time.

McDonough has already come out and said we doesn't want Bender/Ullis buried on the bench and out vets playing 40mins a night. Watson clearly hasn't changed his mind, so McDonough is going to have trade them for it to happen and it cant come soon enough.

Dragan will get his minutes, probably there is a plan to raise trade value for some vets by playing them more.
What I don't like right now is his role on offense where most of the time he stands in corner and occasionally shoots threes. Would like to see him more with ball in his hands.

Dont buy that at all. If anything, having them play is hurting their trade value, they have been awful this season
Teams know what Tucker/Knight are at this stage, playing them a couple of extra minutes is not going to magically enhance their trade value.

Well, I have to agree about their value dropped with poor games this season but can't find any other logical explanation why watson says one thing and does the other. Hope he's not trolling fan base. :D

Tucker had some great defensive games shutting down guys and Knight has played well of two or three games so those don't hurt.

The only logical explanation is Watson still values winning meaningless games over actual developlmet of our young players.

He wants too: A) Win meaningless games which hurts our draft pick status
B) Play guys who have no future here over guys who do

He seems like a coach who is looking out for himself instead of the best interest of the ball club.

Are you still hoping for playoffs? I know Bender doesn't look good at times but he also is not being utilized properly. This appear obvious it isn't his decision. Warren probably doesn't want to hang out to shoot 3s either but it is obvious instruction.

I understand playing these guys for trade value but if you are advocating them playing to make our team be more competitive for any other sake than trade value, that seems to be pointless.

At the same time, I respect your opinions and love your stats postings so I am just respectively asking why you would rather see the vets play than the rookies, even if they suck at times when we need to likely see what these guys can do with opportunity.

Cmon, a couple of good games out of what... 30?? This has been Tuckers and Knights worse season of their NBA careers (not including Tucker at Toronto)

In the last five games when scouts and teams are likely looking closer at players.
