Unless I get a 20+ outing from Reed tomorrow, I'm out of both leagues. 1st and 2nd in total scoring respectively. First week in a long time where Rodgers/Le'Veon/DeMarco didn't lift me to victory. Should have played Monty over Ajayi.

Yeah, finished well in first in scoring in 2 leagues and may not get paid in either.

Snuck into the semis in one league, looks like I'll be playing for 3rd place there. But in my bigger money league I'm down about 15 and I have Cam and Carolinas defense tonight. This is what fantasy is made for.

Down 13.5 with Greg Olsen and Jonathan Stewart in a PPR league. Other guy has nothing. If I win I'm guaranteed to finish in the money, if I lose I get nothing.

I'm so annoyed.

I'm in a confidence pool with 25 other family members that's been going on for probably 20 years. This season I've been killing it. Normally I auto pick the week on Thursday afternoon and just change the Thursday game, thinking I'll change the rest of the picks on Sunday. I gave Seattle 16 points (most confident of the week) on Thursday, set everything else to random and after the game figured I was set going in to the weekend.

Saturday night rolls around and I'm at a grad party at the bars and NY vs MIA is on and I'm tapping the guy at the bar like, "Is this live?!" which yea, of course. I come home and my random selection was NY with my 15th pick.

**** **** you Saturday NFL.

In title game:

I have:
Cousins, Montgomery,Amari Cooper (maybe AJ Green if he comes back), TE, Ajayi, DeMarco, Leveon,Packers DEF, Vinetari

Opponent:
Brady, Mike Evans, Davante, Zeke, Freeman, Brate, Malcolm Mitchell, Gostkowski, Denver

I placed TE because I am not sure who to go with: Gates, Hunter Henry, Vernon Davis, Cook, Clay...other?

So who's still playing for a championship? I'm in the final in my second league, feeling okay about it. Missed the playoffs in my big league by four total points on the season, ugh.

Gurley, but it's been scary starting Gurley all year (I'm a Gurley owner).

A lot of money on the line in my Championship this week. Need some help, a lot of options...

12 teams, PPR, Start QB, RBx2, WRx2, TE, FLEX (RB/WR/TE), K, D/ST.

QB - I'm going Brady over Prescott.

RB - Need two of Gurley vs SF, Gore @ Oakland, and Jonathan Stewart vs ATL. The oddman out could be an option at flex.

WR - Going with Jordy and D. Thomas. Also have K. Benjamin vs ATL, Dontrelle Inman @ Cle , and Malcom Mitchell vs NYJ as options at flex.

TE - Going with Greg Olsen. Also have Jimmy Graham vs AZ as option for flex (not really considering him though).

Flex - ??? Can consider any of the underlined match ups from above.

K - Gostkowski

D/ST - Denver

I'm agonizing over the TE position for my game too. By all indications starting Gates or Henry seem like a pretty sure bet for a TD. Cook is too fluky but right now I have Eifert going against a stellar Houston defense in regards to guarding the TE. Ladarius Green in concussion protocol.

I'm watching both the situations closely, and if I can't play Eifert or Green I'm looking;
1. Griffith if CJ Fedoriwicz is out
2. Henry
3. Cooks

Subject to change a bit, but I really just need like 10 points out of the position and I will be pretty happy.

Here is CBS play of the week

Start of the Week
Todd Gurley RB / Los Angeles Rams (Week 16 projected stats vs. SF)
FPTS: 11.0
Todd Gurley has been the biggest bust this year. There's no way to sugarcoat it. Based on where he was drafted compared to his production it's been vomit inducing.
But now, if you advanced this far despite Gurley, is his time to reward you. And he will, thanks to his matchup with the 49ers.
There's only been one week this season where a running back failed to score or gain 100 total yards against San Francisco, which was Week 1 against, you guessed it, Gurley. He was held to 17 carries for 47 yards and one catch for minus-5 yards, which set the tone for his bad year. But things have changed dramatically for the 49ers defense.
There have been 13 running backs to gain 100 total yards against San Francisco, and the 49ers have allowed 25 total touchdowns to the position. It's almost a fluke that Gurley had a bad game against them in Week 1, but that is likely more about him and his situation than anything else.

Dealing with a bad offensive line and poor quarterback play, Gurley has 241 carries for 778 yards (3.2 yards per carry) and five touchdowns and 36 catches for 270 yards in 14 games. By comparison, last year he had 229 carries for 1,106 yards (4.8 yards per carry) and 10 touchdowns and 21 catches for 188 yards in just 13 games.
But we can't worry about what happened this year, and we'll address his status for 2017 in the coming weeks once this season ends and the Rams get a new coach with Jeff Fisher gone. For this week, Gurley can be trusted.
The 49ers are that bad. And Gurley will deliver in a big way.
I'm starting Gurley over: Spencer Ware (vs. DEN), Mark Ingram (vs. TB), Doug Martin (at NO), Jay Ajayi (at BUF) and Thomas Rawls (vs. ARI)

I probably go Gurley, Gore and then flex Stewart. But if you think that Carolina game turns into a passing shoot out, Malcom Mitchell has a lot of appeal this week.

Here is the CBS write up as a start this week

Malcolm Mitchell WR / New England Patriots (Week 16 projected stats vs. NYJ)
FPTS: 7.0
I'm excited about all the Patriots receivers this week given the matchup with the Jets. In Week 12 in New York, Mitchell led the way with five catches for 42 yards and two touchdowns on seven targets, Julian Edelman had eight catches for 83 yards on 11 targets and Chris Hogan had four catches for 70 yards on five targets. Mitchell is a borderline No. 1 receiver this week, and he'll rebound from last week's down game at Denver with one catch for 14 yards on one target. Prior to that, he scored at least eight Fantasy points in a standard league in four games in a row. Edelman is a No. 2 receiver, with his value higher in PPR, and Hogan is a Hail Mary option with the hope he scores. But given the matchup with the Jets, all three receivers are in play this week

Personally fairly torn between starting 2 of the below in a half point ppr
Tyrell Williams against Cle
Wille Snead against Tam
Malcom Mitchell against NYJ
Cameron Meredith against WAS

That CLE secondary is bad, but Ty has been a bit disappointing since the shoulder.
Snead went something like 8 for 88 when they played Tampa in Tampa
Mitchell and Meredith have good matchups but you don't have much history there, or not sure if enough history to trust them in the Championship game

Thoughts?

We really need a "answer a question then ask a question" policy for next year. Maybe even answer two ask one.

So my problem with AJ Green, they were talking on Serius XM that it was a grade 3 tear. Cincy has nothing to play for, so at the slightest twinge, I would have to think they are going to pull him. Personally that is too much risk for me in a championship game.

As for Cooper, he actually has one of the best match ups of the week according to pro football focus. Vontae Davis has been that bad this year.

I'd lean Ty and Cooper.

I'd definitely go Mitchell. Snead is a crap shoot because Brees has a lot of options. Williams is essentially the #2 guy to Inman currently so he's a bit of a gamble as well. And to be honest I don't know much about Meredith. So I'd probably end up going with Mitchell and flipping a coin between Williams and Snead since it's hard to tell which one is more likely to score a TD. Williams probably gets more targets? So maybe go with him over Snead.

Yep, that is what I was thinking. AJ Green is like 36 yards away from another 1,000 season (would be his 3rd in a row). I can see them playing him just to get that.

Going against Zeke, I so hope Dallas benches him early on MNF.
