Someone post this in the GB thread, a lot of them didn't have a problem with what Karl said at first, maybe now they'll open their f**king eyes.

The funny **** is that real thugs would never ever look at ANY NBA PLAYER as a thug. Any Black man that comes from the Hood and seen as Angry, has Edge, is a Thug to people like George Karl. Even the dude who acts the The most "Thug" in the NBA, Boogie Cousins would not been seen as as a thug from the cats in the streets or in jail. There is a difference in Attitude/Hard Edge and what a Thug is.

Classic case of racial paternalism. I suppose Karl's daddy taught him how to take potshots at players. He needs his azz kicked.

Up and down Broadway.

Forget that. Beating this dude down will only back his hood comments. Even though anybody would want to kick his ass, that's how it will be spun.

Hit him where it hurts - his wallet. Ban him from the NBA

The fact that we could believe it to be true given his recent comments is disturbing

Sure. The first set are very problematic/racist in their own right. I'm just not seeing this as a quote elsewhere. The "amir" account was retweeted by a legit source but I'm not sure that his account is.

I agree with Torres. This is a perfect situation for the organization to stand up for Carmelo. This is fuel for this franchise, media and fans to come together and make a statement on and off the court. Personally not a big melo fan and have been down on this season. Until now. Time to go **** **** up.

Unfortunately I dont see anything else, but the credibility lies with the journalist who tweeted it knowing his position as a senior writer for ESPN and the irresposibillty to retweet something that strong if its innaccurate. As damning as that is I have to believe its legit until proven otherwise.

Other than not agreeing about his Dad comment, Karl is spot on; Melo is one of the best scorers ever in the NBA, however, he's a terrible teammate, that's how Melo was in Syracuse and that's how he is today, he will never change and we will never win with him.

I just wanna say not all white people are as ignorant as this dumb old white piece of sh*t where he talks like he's a better than any of the players he's sh*t talking.

I'm white and he's seriously making my blood boil with his f**king comments, f**k I wanna punch him in his mouth.

How **** pathetic is your agenda that you think that's ok?

dude the only agenda is you saying agenda

karl said something very dumb and in poor taste when all he could've just said was "being young, rich, and famous could be overwhelming to a kid who unfortunately didn't have a father around to teach him how to be a man"

that's a normal thing, i grew up without a dad and i'm still trying to find how the world works on my own.

You couldn't wait for yet another soapbox even though "you're out of the civil war".

The fact that you're still defending this fool screams volumes and I'm surprised.

except i'm not defending him.
